The thing shock me too o grin

In my 6 months on ehailing, I've changed hub twice( same side) changed linkage, control arm bushing, changed battery, bought a fake oil that caused sludge so the engine had to be opened and cleaned, changed bulbs numerous times(I don tire to change this one), changed brake pad, had exhaust leaks a couple of times I've had to fix.

So I will be shocked if any car manages to cover as much miles as I've covered in 6 months without needing any major repairs.

baba what type of car are you using

Guys I'm in a dilemma. Need to choose between accidented car and high mileage car. See the pix attached.

Although both of them are high mileage, I would go for d lower mileage and hail damage car...that's not really a damage and doesn't affect the frame or integrity of the car. Will probably have a stronger engine and gear than d other one with normal wear and tear.

But in terms of aesthetics the blue one with alloy rims is preferred. grin

Hmm Unions. Unionism.

For one advantage of Unionism, there are 10 disadvantages. It's just worst and used wrongly in Nigeria.

Will not be surprised if some day, drivers are being stopped on the road like the Danfos.

Goodluck!

You cannot bring down what can't be broken.

If I were drivers, I will extend this strike for the next 1 week.

Even the striking drivers who are Patriots have made it possible for non striking drivers who are basttards to earn more today because of surge. Which means that even with surge, people will still pay for the comfort and style.

In 2021, base fare is still 500 in Nigeria? How? Are you aware that 500 naira is now 1 dollar? How much is a shock? How much is fuel? How much is alternator and radiator? Nawa to una oo.

Are you aware that the price of dollar determines our economy? I thank God I stopped this useless hustle at the right time.

Average fare at this moment in our history shouldn't be anything less than 1k and bolt should reduce their Commission to 10%. With the number of rides done yearly on bolt, that 10% can easily be 10 billion naira yearly in profits alone. Why make it 20 billion?

It is better that you do 1 trip a day that pays well than 10 useless trips that are worthless. Only veterans will understand this.

I don't think it's as a result of compliance, bolt just permanent it there because my area that hardly has surge is still red till now. No fluctuation, the red is just there since morning.
At least riders will still feel the impact of the strike

Pls, tell Pearl who is surprised that app coys can influence surge in a particular location. .

My red colored civic ... I bought it tokunbo with 90k miles at the time ... The first 6months I never had any issues, all I did was oil change .........The most I spend on repairs can't be up to 60k naira .........

When it comes to auto parts the most important thing is getting quality parts . once you are able to get good quality parts , than your repairs and downtime will reduce ....

I have replace the same parts over and over again .. I wasted money . And this is due to low quality parts and incompetent mechanics.......

Can you believe with the civic I have never change the a/c compressor before .. And this is because I used the imported freon .........

if owners can go the extra mile to take care of their cars by buying quality parts. It will save them time and money in the long run

My only problem with quality parts is that, sometimes I can't justify the price.

A brand new OEM Toyota compressor should be close to N200,000 if not more. Why should I spend that much when I can take my chances with a Tokumbo that costs less than 50k?

How many passengers will I carry to recover that N200k?

You have the volume, so you can spread your expenses but those of us with just one vehicle don't have that luxury.

When I say quality parts I mean quality tokunbo parts .. I don't mean brand new parts.. There are certain parts that I will brand new like spark plugs or ball joint....

For now I luvvinhubby parts are good for me .. He seems to know his stuff and has quality parts.. Just like people know for importing original engine oil ..luvvinhubby seems to know his stuff....

My point is that look for someone that sells things at a reasonable price

See the cool bonus they want to use to lure everyone out to drive.

I've always wondered, how is this acceptance rate different from completion rate?

Anytime I don't accept a trip, it affects both the acceptance and completion rate.

If I accept a trip and don't go for it, nothing happens to my completion rate

The idea of the acceptance and completion rating is to favour the riders nd turn the drivers to zombie, so that you drivers cant filter trips or refuse some dead areas, so you must accept all trips and complete all the trips you accept, if you dont accept any one it will drop you ratings so bad that you will now have to do instead of 33trips u were offered but will now do like 38trips to cover up for the only one u did not accept the more you reject the more you rating pummel

He question is...

1) what can you do that will affect your acceptance rate without affecting your completion rate.

2) what can you do that will affect your completion rate without affecting your cancelation rate.

This's with regards to Bolt's bonus' T&C.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 7:44am On Apr 20, 2021
Tbh, Bolt bonus is a joke. Is that a bonus,? more of like you are staking a bet., No guaranty. 55 trips for ₦12,000.

85% completion, 87% acceptance, bla bla....
