There is something called continous power output and peak power output of inverters.
An inverter rated say 1000w will most often only be able to carry 500w load continous and 1000w load peak for some seconds for inductive loads like refrigerator which have surge on startup.

Most inverters are designed that way. You cannot load an inverter to 100% of its capacity the same way you should not discharge your batteries to 0%.

I suggest you take time to do extensive research on these things

You've actually made my point for me.

Manufacturers (not cheap china products) always state this clearly.. Peak rated power is this, actual rated power is that.

There's a reason Inverters and Generators are rated in Va not watts.

Also, it's quite rare to see a power factor of 0.5

Good day all, today I am here to sing praises not bad mouth justcallmenuel, he tried though I was patient, I bought a zedix ba3 of 100ah, in 5month s the dude gave up, call justcallmenuel and told him ,he said I should send back to Lagos, which wasn't easy, but I still did just to see if he will really honour the warranty. Just yesterday morning was call to come pick up my ba3, when I say it I had doubts, but surprisedly after full charge, the ba3 worked till this morning, still holding power at 12.5, na China so 12.5 is OK for me. Thank you justcallmenuel, I know many pipo do complain about your but you are still one of the best, just try and improve better.

there's no scam here it's a case of not being reliably informed about actual rating capacity and overloading, pointstores learn from this and nexte take out time and educate people like this about capacity and loading no matter how they'll insist, I've known you for years on nairaland and you're one of the guys I'll vouch for here on nairaland

as it stands now, u cant really do something small again, u might need to upgrade to a 24V system, which means, 24v hybrid inverter, solar panels, and 2pcs 200ah/160ah fullriver batteries.

Good to hear, some sellers will give u 12months warranty, when problem occurs in 3-6months and u call them about it , their tone changes, I was of going to tell u guys the encounter I had with this fullriver seller, my mind just say make I no talk...before I paid them, our rapour and conversation was going smooth but the day I sent them chat that I would return the battery and get a refund or have it changed , their voice come change to bass from treble , later discovered that my light in the house was low, so the charger couldn't do much, cos then I haven't connected my solar panel, moved to a new apartment... But if I get any small problem from the battery, I no go waste time return am because its still under warranty, I don't understand why these warranty stuff fulfillment no dey work for nigeria, the person I was chatting with was even saying my 160ah fullriver doesn't sulfate that I shouldn't use the pulse repair charger, the battery is agm,

Solar panel: How many will I need. Also, please recommend a price and good product

Charge controller: what amps will I need?

Thinking about getting the panel and a new set of batteries once I can. As money no too dey to buy everything once

Please I need genuine advice. I don't know much about solar power system. I want to get one for my self.
I need a system that can power my 32 inches television, charge my phones, power a fan, charge my laptop and light around 4 to 5 bulbs.

Some are suggesting I should buy a lumos prime solar system while some are saying beebeejump is better.
What do you guys think I should go for?
I need something to depend on as the transformer serving my area has recently packed up. I know a system that will operate washing machine or fridge is going to be expensive, so I am now even thinking about that one now.

Go for a 2.5kva 24v system with at least 4pcs of 200ah batteries if what you stated there is really your load requirement

A friend of mine recently got Wattbank T, which is a solar power system sold by Photizzo Technologies. The unit has a 1.1KWh Battery capacity and 700W Inverter capacity. So far, she hasn't had any issues with the Wattbank despite the consistency of usage and this is why i would recommend their energy storage system to people intending to buy a solar power unit for personal or commercial use.

You can check out their website on www.photizzo.com/products

Their online chat staffs are super responsive too.
