David!!.. U know I love you right? But the truth is you won't be ready when am ready!! Those where the last words of my a girl who use to be my girlfriend and I loved her very much and felt we were in love and that we are going to have a future. She just accepted another guy proposal and the guy had done introduction already... Am a serving corper here in Lagos with visions plans and aspirations which I have discussed with her it a shame she didn't believe in me.... I was devastated at first but now I have accepted reality and gotten over it with more determination to make it at all cost to prove to her at she was wrong and make my self happy. so one person break your heart and we no hear word again? Be honest to urself at least...u can't afford to take care of her needs just yet, u weren't going to kill or rob to make things happen. The kids, ur in law etc come as a tag which u can't even cope with right now...i like that u believe in life processes and obviously not a get rich over night mentality laden young man. You will be fine. You won't even marry urself at this point...so take a break, work on you and become your aspiration and more. Your story is familiar in men's world. It's no big deal. Women are hypergamous in nature. True is rare from a woman except your mother. Know this and know peace. The girl took the best decision for herself and yourself, if not the pressure you will be under to fulfil your promise to her will push to do things you wouldn't want to do. Just wish her well.
