I have done my due diligence, and it's obvious you are the one that did not listen, or you are just trying to be disingenuous, picking part of the interview that suits your argument. Pep did not insult his owners. Earlier in the interview, he kept insisting that he doesn't have enough information. The statement a sport is not a sport if there's no direct relationship between effort and success is rather not a major dig at ESL. I could even take it as an opinion informing the ESL to expand their plans to accommodate a direct relationship between effort and success if that's currently a dent in their plans. He clearly indicated that everyone was looking out for himself including UEFA, citing examples like Lewandowski's injury. He infact praised his current employers somewhat, citing that they didn't fire anybody despite the financial problems caused by Covid. So please you should go and listen again. I thought i would play the interview and hear Pep saying the owners are "so full of shit" for wanting to break away into a new league. Joezinho: 1 Like |
