If you book 5 lessons. A honest instructor should be able to guide you on were you are because this answer is very individualistic.

I drove 3 years in US only never in naija and did only 5 or so lessons in UK, very few . My husband drove over 15 years in naija (since he was young) and did like 30 lessons ....so that makes me know you can't even predict.

No joke bro..I am a living witness.

I used to drive with one hand on gear stick and the other holding the steering. About 40 lessons and 4 good attempts later, I passed the driving test.

I had driving experience in Nigeria (No formal driving school experience and mostly automatic). I booked a block of 10 lessons with AA I told the instructor I didn't know how to drive much and after the first lesson, the instructor said I could drive so we worked on the rules and other test areas.

What are your thoughts on the various scandals rocking the government? I noticed that what we call corruption in Nigeria is labelled cronyism here. Contracts for family and friends without due process is called cronyism but we call ours corruption. When TI does their next rating, we will still be high up there and since the perception here is not of corruption, they will be much lower on the list.

Cronyism is the same as corruption. I remember a few years back when David Cameron described Nigeria as a fantastically corrupt country, the same David Cameron is texting ministers to get a slice of the Covid fund pie. It's corruption when its done by black people, cronyism when done by white people.
