Use your social media tools wisely, remember they are tools and you should use them as such. Also, you'll do a lot of learning and unlearning, so never feel ashamed when you don't know something. Always try to learn more and read more about it.

2. Different timezones, worked with UK, Indians, US, Australians. First they must know I'm a proud Nigerian, if they are unwilling to work with one then they should f*CK off with their money.
3. Depends on project, min $15 per hour.
4. Both temp and permanent. Currently on permanent with Automatic.

7. Hired, LinkedIn, Hubstaff talent, we work remotely, stackoverflow etc
8. Stable, been using MTN for a while.
9.If you are a Developer, build a lot of projects. Be able to defend your project. Clients will come knocking. Ignore those street peeps calling you Yahoo as long as you are legit

Hi,

I understand you might be a startup but please, get a more convincing email. It doesn't really cost much to get a domain. While an email address doesn't necessarily match skills, it definitely indicates seriousness/dedication. And the absence of one is the first sign someone isn't registered. Now, only a very few people in diaspora would want to do such heavy projects with such a person. I could be wrong but being a 'diasporan' myself, I think I have a fair understanding of how skeptical we could be with such things.

LinkedIn, work on a small project and advertise on your github join a community. Study Algorithm and Data Structure, also build a small company and work on products, you will see someone come to you. we are working on such at the moment

I've been working remotely for a year now and the experience so far has been a mixed one.
No doubt, it's more convenient working from home; navigating between work desk and your bed, not having to wake up early and dress for work,etc.

Apart from the boredom and sometimes not having a balance lifestyle between work and life, it's been a great experience.
