Asking for Electricity from people that hid palliatives from you is a waste of time.

We need the right man to handle our nation...these politicians have failed us.. imagine the bilions our Govt have been wasting on power sector...Agagu and Imoke enriched themselves until they dont know where to slash the funds and they ended up in the hospital to vomit parr of what they swallow.. .Buhari came and the story continues for almost 6 years now... God must arise and visit all those mismanaging the resources of this nation..

Problems like this are by design, not simply corruption.

2 incidents in his first term convinced me Buhari was nothing but a scam buoyed and fuelled by propaganda,deceit and lies:
First when he refused to fully disclose his asset,as he promised.
(if u are clean as the propaganda made us believe,that was the simplest thing to do).
Secondly,when he gave the rooster and bull story of the army confiscating his school certificate!but then when he became president and C-in-C could not give a simple one line order for the army secretary to produce his claimed confiscated certificate.
There and then I knew we were all fed a party pot fu ll of stone for spaghetti.

To be honest, these are really poor excuses for why you don't believe Buhari is the best thing ever even more than sliced bread. The old man had antecedents dating to 1984! Anyone who had access to the Internet and an unbiased mind would have known that Buhari would be worse than Jonathan.

Anyway, y'all deserve him. My sympathies lie with innocent people esp Northern Nigeria's Christians.

I don't know what has happened to the electricity lately, is it a lack of investment or what?

electricity is better in my area and in my office, i'm not a fan of buhari , but the power has improved

Currently the price to generate a kWh is about N70 and next year, it may be higher.
Why? because our exchange rate is getting worse and Natural gas is sold in USD.


Unless Nigerians reduce their purchases of imported things (spending fewer dollars) or we become more productive and start exporting things (making more dollars), nothing is going to change.

Energy and food prices are the most reactive to inflation. Raising the price of electricity to infinity as you are suggesting is only going to increase poverty in the already world's poverty capital.

Increased poverty, leads to increased insecurity.

The solution is to raise taxes on the rich and invest in basic education for the poor. This is how all serious governments operate. Nigeria is looking for its own unique solutions, trying to make a round wheel a square.

yes i live in lagos and ibadan, i think the only reason why i won't accept this news is because its coming from pdp, i'm not an apc either, and buhari has not done well at allllll..... but electricity has never been better in nigeria since i was born .
