How do you know that his intention was to request for charge back? Was there no official receipt to confirm the payment? As at now,has the fee been paid and confirmed by you? If yes,he should be paid.
I don't think there's anyone that is not your family member who will charge you #340 per CAD. My opinion.
He is a scammer. Someone here sent me a mail that this same guy just dupped him earlier this month. He goes about sending PM to individuals who came here seeking financial advices. Please we should all be careful with that moniker

How long does it take for centennial college to send LOA pls ? My tuition receipt has been sent but no LOA yet. This is tiring.

Hello everyone, please I need your assistance.
Age 29
Qualification:
M.Sc. Chemistry (Biochemistry) country Nigeria
B.Sc. Biochemistry country Nigeria
Married with 2 kids

Please I'm interested in research work on Food science or public health for my PHD.
My questions are?

How will I know research interests that are fully funded looking at faculty, professor and research interests?
Less competitive and cheapest schools
Can I still be admitted for September intake

Thanking you in advance.
A PHD in Food Science should be your focus cos it aligns more with your CHEMISTRY & BIOCHEMISTRY degrees

It is not stated anywhere that it's a Particular Set of Research Interests that are fully-funded.

There are funding opportunities for loads of RESEARCH INTERESTS most esp. in STEM

Based on your B.SC & MSC Thesis work am sure you are going to have RESEARCH INTERESTS of your choice, but you stand more Chances to get a FULLY-FUNDED PHD PROGRAM in a RESEARCH AREA OR AREAS you have PRIOR RESEARCH EXPERIENCE IN, cos most of this PROFESSORS want Candidates who has prior/relevant research experience in what he does in his lab.

You need to reach out to PROFS via the cold mail approach.

Find attached a Word Document having links to 7-Canadian universities offering Food Science and their Professors, download it, open it, copy the links one after the other to your WEB BROWSER, check out the RESEARCH AREAS of the PROFS., read their Publications, if you discover you have something in common with a Prof, draft your cold mail and shoot it to him/her.

Visit the link below to know how to draft a Cold Mail, how to draft your ACADEMIC CV (Canadian Standard) with Templates, and other information you can use to package yourself for a Fully-funded PHD program in Canada

Hello JDforeal,

Your query is not all clear. However, if your brother is sponsoring you, he will have to demonstrate commitment by paying part of your tuition and LE transferred to you (or open a GIC).

The lump sum can be justified by property sales, deed gift, loan repayment, liquidation of investment, etc.

From the provided information, your sponsor's financial profile may not be satisfactory and the monies can be termed not accessible to PA or as borrowed monies. For better advice, you may want to give a clear picture of the true situation. What about your parents?

Best of Luck

Good day
My brother is my sponsor
Bu it he’ll be sending 8million to my account for first semester fee and LE from the 10.2million he has in his account

My question is
Do I submit mybankstatement for both my account and my sponsors account?
Thanks
I'm no expert. However, It's important your sponsor(brother) show sufficient amount in his account, you on the other hand don't necessarily have to submit your statement of account. How old are you?

It's called passport migration. It can be done, just make enquiries at the immigration office.

Hello everyone,
I have been a silent reader.
I just got my ppr today.
My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me.
My timeline goes like this:
Submitted - January 27th
Confirmation- January 28th
Biometrics- January 28th
Upfront medicals- March 9th
Medicals updated to pass- March 15th
Bvl and passport request - April 27th
Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application.
To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle.
Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience.

Wow! CONGRATULATIONS!!! We need more of this good news, oluwa rain PPR upon Thy children, Amen!!!

Hi guys,
I don’t know if there is anyone on this boat...I have done my upfront medicals since March 5 and till date it hasn’t been uploaded despite uploading the slip given to me at q-life clinic. I even called q-life and they said they have sent the result since March 14th.

Hello,

Same experience. Did my upfront medical 7th April and sent it via web form. IOM confirmed they have sent my health case to the embassy too. All I know is that it will end in praise for us all.

The only place you can make possible changes in a remark is speaking and writing, every other section has definite answers so you can’t possibly get any change by remarking. S&W are your best scores, shows you are good enough because those are the most difficult areas, you only need to understand how to answer the L&R parts as those are the easier parts

Hello Chrome1,

If this was my situation, I will leave the cash be for as long as it is verifiable. If the VO should request for MBS, reprint the regular BS or the previously used (if it is an NSE request) coupled with a concise LOE.

However, if you so desire to go through the NSE stream, you can make the transfer and support it with an LOE then include the cover page and the transactional page that reflects the funds movement.

Best of Luck

Thank you so much. I will go with the first option.

Good people of Nairaland, thanks for the quality information sharing !
A quick one please:

I'm working towards STUDY PATH to immigration: I had previous education in Chemical Engineering, BUT all my work experience 5+yrs has been in Electrical Engineering (Automation and Control), In your opinion which of the following options will have a higher chance of Study Permit:
1. Masters in Chemical Engineering (which match my academic background only but not match with my work experience)?
2. Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology 2yr Program (which matches with my work experience but is low level certificate)?

Your inputs will be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance !

To digress abit from your question, does your brother have dependents (wife and kids)? If yes, how does he plan to provide for them if only you is taking 8 million from him.

I think you should mention if his wife is working to show that she supports the house with her income.
