Angry Nigerian social media users have slammed Tinubu's wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for tackling Senator Smart Adeyemi who boldly 'scattered' the National Assembly with his emotional speech.

For trying to shut Senator Smart Adeyemi's mouth, some Nigerians have blasted Remi Tinubu, saying that she 'can never be the first lady of Nigeria'.

Tinubu and his wife's ambition to become the President and the First Lady supercedes every calamity that is currently befalling this country. But truthfully, they are not my problem. My major problem is the Nigerian youth who, just as our old generation of politicians/leaders have failed to position the country on the path to greatness, has also failed to collectively get it right in choosing worthy leaders for the country.

There needs to be a break from the norm in future elections. The French youths did it with Emmanuel Macron. We too we can do it!

Senator Remi Tinubu really goofed on this. It is obvious she doesn’t give a damn about the killings and high level of insecurity we are currently faced with.

We all know that Nigerian Political office holders rarely listen to positive counsel of their wives, but it becomes even more scary when a "first lady" is insensitive to the plight of the common man.
