I mentioned it earlier and some people shut me up....This is the time for this administration to bury their pride and whatever shame might come and return Eeben Barlow and crew back to Nigeria...A word is enough for the wise!!!

kabe1:
We need PMCs from South-Africa, security has gone completely out of hand.

We need to bury our heads in the sand, and do the right thing.

Nothing is stable, I don't support giving the military more money, we should have a separate agency which is responsible for procurement and servicing of military equipment in the open.

The military has proven to be very incompetent.

We are just like the Iraqi army, but at least Iraq army have the feared Golden Dawn Division (Special Forces unit).

In Nigeria we had 72 MSF, we had AFSF effective units that were shut down because of politics and utter foolishness.

The only feasible solution i see in this current situation would be to build a Commando Force as the spear tip of the NA - a force that really earns it special forces status modeled similar to the Afghan Army Commandos. This takes years and a significant investment in training and equipment but anyway we cannot except this war to end soon. For training and mission planning we would of course need foreign assistance from western allies and even financial support to acquire state of the equipment.

The funny thing is that most of those who participated in the killings are likely Igbo as well. Contrary to popular opinion that they are northerners. The problem is not tribe, rather the Nigerian system.
Read with comprehension nah!! did I mention any tribe?
I brought Abacha into the picture because he was a close friend to Wiwa (right from his days as a Lieutenant) to push the point of the extent humans can go to prove a point. No one is talking about tribes here but humans in general

Mr. Badamasi Lawal Charanchi the past commissioner for Education in Kastina State

The Katsina State Government have approved the employment of dogs by the security personnel deployed to secure the state’s boarding schools.

This move, according to the Katsina State Commissioner for Education, Dr Badamasi Lawal Charanchi is to complement the efforts of the security personnel attached to each boarding schools.

“We were advised to deploy these dogs at each school because they have special abilities to detect intruder faster than human beings in many instances.

“These dogs, when deployed will alert the students and other security agents in case of any intruder or bandits when they are coming”, he said.

On his part, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari said his administration has re-enforced the security architecture of the state’s boarding schools before reopening them.

According to him, apart from deploying five security guards at each school, a perimeter fence was erected and a security watch tower were all constructed in each of the state’s boarding schools.

Hiring mercenary is abominably expensive and unsustainable for any national army. it's far better to seek support from a sovereign nation than from Dothrakis mercenaries.
Lol, atleast they are better than the golden company with their shiny armor and 2 star services..

I have considerable doubts as there are visible shortcomings of available resources and abilities in NA in significant areas.

I think the shortcomings are mainly as a result of the deficiencies in deployment of the available resources.
I know we have the resources to beat them. Its the brains and will that are absent.

I tracked the PAF aircraft making the delivery to Turkey last week. I'm sure it is in Nigeria already. But I think it is the second plane.

Do you understand what SF or special ops is or you have only pictures of Hollywood and Gucci gear in your mind. Because if you did you would understand the number part.

All you just talked about is Comms availability which in itself there is clear shortage of. It's visible to all.
Now, when I talk comms I'm talking about its activities, equipment, techniques, and tactics. Efficiency and security in relaying information up and down the chain of command.

If you think NA has no problem in this regard I must leave you to amuse yourself
When I read your reply I just had to have a big lmao. You made the allusion about numbers and I had to ask to be educated but typically your answer was just all about everywhere. No point made.

Now it has come from no comms to shortage of it. Gradually we are all getting to the truth. The bolded part is what I had expected us to be talking about, not "NA not having comm equipment".

The same way you were enjoying it when fulani terrorists were killing, kidnapping and raping women all over the South and North Central.

We know your crying started when your fulani cannibal brothers started to eat their kind. We remember the spat we had with you right here on Nairaland, about six years ago when Baba Alakyio, the Eggon leader of the Ombatse militia was reportedly killed by Fulani terrorists in Nasarawa. We remember how you and a certain Nduchuks use to threaten that Fulani will take over all the land in Nigeria.
Gotcha.
The endsarz protest was an eye opener to me of how the average northern reasons.

Nothing surprising about it. we gotta ask ourselves why some Nigerians should care about cops being killed or govt buildings getting burnt to the ground.
When those govts barely function, provides zero basic services for the people, then what incentive does the people have to protect officials they see as corrupt embezzlers who could care less about the people.
your average Nigerian doesn't respect the police, why should they, all they see are criminals in uniform who chase cars to demand for bribes.
If the govt is responsive to the needs of the people and actually provide basic services, the people will protect them and support them, but mostly in rural areas, that's not the case. So why are we surprised seeing residents welcoming terrorists etc.

I was just about to type these but you have already made my point

If citizens are beginning to cheer the killing of cops, then the NPF should look themselves in the mirror because their antecedents point to the fact that they share a majority of the blame

You mean to tell me what we call SF take the war to the enemy in small numbers? And doing that makes them SF? Lol. Give me an idea of your "small numbers please",I might understand you better. Oga we don't have any comms problems cos I've seen many on vids/pix go out on operations with comms. The Mainok issue that people were talking about lack of comms, how were they able to request for additional forces? How did they request for NAF CAS, and how did they know the requested additional forces were on the way coming, how did they know there was blue on blue and they had to withdraw. Did they use smoke/drum signal or sent the fastest one's amongst them?
We don;t have SF and I have said it times without number on other threads. Those guys masquerading as SF after 3 - 4 months "rush rush" training are not SF. SF soldiers take at least 6 - 9 months to train (at least because in some countries, it takes 2 years). Besides, our SF are poorly funded (only the NAF tries in this regard) but the NA SF is an eyesore.

This is misinformation. Just show one proof that their training is 3-4 months. Or are you talking about only the COIN part of their training.

The NN SF is poorly funded too?

BROS< THANK YOU FOR EXPOSING THIS TERRORIST

WHAT SHE WAS BEATING HER CHEST ABOUT HAS FINALLY COME TO HER DOOR STEP AND NOW SHE IS SEEKING SYMPATHY FOR HER COP FRIENDS.

MADAM NAFEESA, E NO FIT WORK. YOUR UTTERANCES HAVE EXPOSED YOU AS AN UNPATRIOTIC NIGERIAN AND A DISGRACE TO THE POLICE UNIFORM.

WHEN I SAID IT HERE THAT I HAVE ONLY SEEN TWO COPS IN MY LIFE THAT ARE UPRIGHT, ONE MAGA CAME TO CHALLENGE ME.

I delibrately omitted the NN SF because I can't say much about them. I really don't know about their contributions to the ongoing war and I think someone said that their superiors are delibrately reluctant to deploy them as their training and kits are really expensive (he called them chinese version of the "Navy Seals"wink.

But truth be told, our SF are below par - training and kit wise

Am i totally wrong

Don't get me wrong, I am not blaming the boys but the superior officers that dont kit them well

The only times these guts are well kitted is when they go for foreign training and pose for pictures. Apart from that, its rare to see them fully kitted.

In fact, I am beginning to believe any NA regular can just wear that black t-shirt and call himself SF

Kit, yes (Except NN). Training; how do we ascertain that? They've not been found wanting in battle neither in international exercise.

All SFs are not SAS or Green Berets with worldwide mandate. With much more investment in kits and even brains (for SF Control and Command) they can only go up from where they are.

AND, it takes at least 6 months to train any SF in any of the 3 services. NN has the longest
