I want to apply for verification to nmcn as I have already paid 140p to nmc uk. But I'm confused if there will be issues with my names because one of my friends said I wont be verified unless si change my names with nmc Nigeria. you don't have to change ur name. Just attach ur marriage certificate to ur documents and notification for change of name in one of the Nigerian daily

it took 3 months oh. Submitted 26th of January nd got verified 26th of April.

I want to encourage all the nurses and all who in one way or the other want to work and live abroad, please don't relent, those who want to join the trend, pls do join. No mater the cost continue, is something worthy achieving, we have spent over a million, but is not at once, and yet we haven't migrated, continue to wax strong in your determination. For the ladies who has kids and families, pls involve your spouses to follow things up with you, let him have your emails and passwords. For me I'm a man and I do most of my wife's follow ups, because women are having more responsibilities in caring and looking after the kids. They may in one way or the other forget some passwords or usernames. I pray that God almighty will see us through in Jesus name. Amen. Remain blessed.

once you have gathered enough money to sponsor ur family which will have to reflect in your bank statement nd have also gotten a suitable accommodation for your family type. Bringing your family is not an issue in the Uk cause those are things the Home office will look at.

If your sister has enough money, maybe 3.5m to 4m depending on the size of the family the can move immediately with the family. The agents can only sponsor the nurse, but if the don't have such money, she can move alone then within 6 months she can raise funds for the family to come down. Thank you.

Its nice you want to switch professions.

Anyways, whatever you want to study in Canada MUST BE RELEVANT TO THE NIGERIAN JOB MARKET. Therefore, you CANNOT use admission for areas like licensed practical nursing and healthcare aide (personal support work).

Yes you can study them when u eventually get to Canada, but can't use it for your visa application as those professions do not exist in Nigeria.

The aim of a study permit is to prove that your study will be useful in Nigeria.

If you are married, your entire family can be included in your green card application. Therefore, if you have the money for it, you all can move at the same time. Most agencies will only pay for you and you will have to pay for the rest of your family.

Please a close contact of mine has been applying for job in UK since last year. She passed ielts recently, but waiting for ATT. I suspect that the WHO code of practice for ethical recruitment has been affecting her. Kindly drop any hint or link that can be helpful in getting her a job with an NHS Trust.

You can then ask questions for further clarification.

Good evening everyone, please my sis has a UK visa due to expire in June, but due to Covid she hasn't been able to go.

Now the issue is, can she extend the visa before it expires? Or she has to go by force.

And if she doesn't go, would it affect her next visa chances, cus she plans applying for US next year.

you need to create an online account with NMC uk then pay the £140 for your credentials evaluation. After that, pay for your NMCN license verification. Nmc uk will send you your Authorization to test which you will use to book your exams
