The easiest job to get is in this present Nigeria is a MARKETING JOB.

I have done Marketing in this world and I have tire including Network Marketing.

P.S: if you are looking for a job, just walk into any organisation and say you want to join their Marketing team, they will welcome you with open arms.

I don't think it's too bad a job if the company has insured. I have a close person who's working as an account officer in one of these micro finance banks and she only worries about meeting the target, enforcing these clients for repayment and all. What if one of these clients run away and didn't pay the money? She said due process will be followed and the insurance company will see to it.

What company was that? I also almost got employed at Baobab Mfb for a loan officer. How I got rejected is still baffling.

This would help them understand the agbero / gangster business terrain of Nigeria, and prepare them to better manage their own business

Also I like fresh graduates to atleast work in a Chinese, Lebanese or Indian firm, so that they can learn about crazy work ethics and how to work round the clock ... This would help them greatly when working in their startup companies

For a dead client, insurance will automatically cover. For a client who has been robbed, the guarantor will pay or the loan can be restructured, longer duration, lower monthly installment. For a client that abscond, the audit team will check if due diligence was followed by the loan officer, if the LO was found culpable, the LO faces the full wrath, either suspension or sack. The loan will be transferred to the recovery department, if the loan cannot be recovered then its written off.

That work is not easy , I could formerly remember how Lapo staffs do it. Some women would even run to evade payments

The fact that we have a double digit interest rate is causing a high default rate by the borrowers. I will advice you focus on civil servants as your borrowers. At worst, there will only be delayed payments

Unemployment has really dealt with this country called Nigeria, to me i think the easiest job offer to get as a nigerian graduates who do not know oga's at the top is the job offer of a loan/credit officer, i just wants us to share our opinions about this, will you accept the offer considering the troubles the job entails?
You give out loans to men and women who does business and they are to pay back either on a weekly or monthly basis, to collect money � sweet die, to return am as they have promised is a problem, even it does happen amongst us either with our friends or families when they seek for monetary help and you help them with it, it is when they are to return your money back to you, they start giving you stories and excuses of non repayment.

I presently run a microfinance institution and I can boldly say never will I accept the job of a loan officer. sometimes, I pity the staffs whenever I go round to check how they faring in all branches and I eventually had to sign an agreement with the police and soldiers to assist in loan recovery so to ease the stress the LO face on field..

Account officer is not as tedious as the loan/credit officer.

Are u still in the recovery job? I want to set up a low budget recovery firm.

Besides.. Some loan officer jobs pay more than commercial bank jobs..
