Why are you so tribalistic, or are you one of the Fulani agents?

Anybody who has been on nairaland for a while should have discovered that many of those monicas pretending to be Yoruba vs Igbo are impostors. Except you are actually one of them as I suspect.

An average Yoruba is in support of the Igbo. I believe an average Igbo who has lived in the Southwest before will also support the Yorubas, knowing that we are both friendly and compatible tribes, more so in these times when we need to form alliance and not allow the kind of division this person is promoting.

Those trying to sow the seed of discord should try harder, because they have failed this time.
We already know their tricks

Nairaland Says No To Secessionists
Then you must be the most funniest person on this earth because Nigeria is not working, it cannot work and will not work out , only those benefitting from these business entity are afraid of secession, mind you I'm a youth if they don't want us to be campaigning for secession, they should implement what they discussed on confab, a particular people cannot be enjoying what is meant for the citizenry, a particular tribe cannot be further allowed to be occupying the juicy position of a particular country , in fact we have never been a country , it is a forced marriage. Can you tell me your continental dish or attire as a Nigerian? I know better you don't know, Our political ideologies are different, just imagine the so called Restructuring, so many ideologies about it from different ethnic groups , Why? Because nobody wants to be a minority politically and other wise...A word is enough for a wise

But you see average Yoruba man,if he has power to wipe the whole Igbos outs,he will do it.

You got it wrong sir. I guess you have never luv d in the Southern to experience the nature of the relationship between the Yorubas and the Igbos. You probably got your opinion from nairaland that is full of tribal impostors.

Life na turn by turn.

You can't fault the vision of Biafrans, who have a lot and still all in their capability to leave this contraption called Nigeria.

My people have an adage, that whenever you wake up is your morning.

Good morning Yoruba people.

Tell me truth, are you really happy as a citizen of Federal republic of Nigeria?

This is a very good question, and worthy of my time. I hope you give my response the same attention.

First, my parents are Nigerian and I have inherited citizenship from them and I am not one to sit there lamenting my lot like some useless loser, so, yes, I am happy to be a "citizen of Nigeria". What I am not happy about is we Nigerians, not since I first arrived amongst us in 73, no, in fact, not since before that, my eyes opening to the country just before we began our civil war. But I'll stick to 73 as my on the ground knowledge began then.

To get to Nigeria, I'd traveled by boat along the west coast of Africa stopping at all the ports along the way from Europe. They were all beautiful places, smelling of fruit, rotten albeit so sweet. Then I arrived at Apapa Wharf and it just stank. I turned to my dad and asked how long we'd be staying at this disgusting port and you must just imagine how my draw dropped when I was informed this was home, Nigeria, and for the next almost two decades, I was depressed. How could a nation be this way I wondered, and after much study, I realised it was exactly how we the Nigerian people wanted our country to be that it precisely is.

When I build a house, I put a wall around it and dig a soakaway as if I have anal retention disorder and need to save my poo. I dig a well gor my water and buy a better pass my neighbour for my light and do not care if everywhere else is in the dark or that my better pass my neighbour disturbs my poor thirsty neighbour. Nor do I give a flying fuq what happens on the road onto which I excrete my waste water. Can you imagine how selfish I must be to behave that way?

When Nigeria me gets a job, I do not diligently do my job but think more about how to line my pocket. I call Nigeria a zoo forgetting I must be the caged animal in that zoo. My daily hope is the destruction of my nation so instead of doing that which will build it up my every act is to tear it down and then I am surprised I live in the hell I created with my own hands? Can I possibky be stupider, you should ask Nigerian me.

Now tell me, how a nation of such selfish people who despite believing they must love their enemies but can't even love their neighbours can be anything but the hell that Nigeria is?

The good thing is we Nigerians will tell you how irresponsible we are by blaming our leaders for the state of our nation when the street we live on is hell as if it is some leader who made my street the hell it is. And we do this in a democracy when we are responsible for electing our leaders, from amongst ourselves! Or is Buhari self elected? Did we not elect him? Oh, you might say you did not vote for him, or he rigged himself in place, but I laugh at such irresponsibility because that is what it is. If we organised and were more responsible, can we the almost 3 million Nigerians not make a difference? But see how busy we are insulting each other instead of working together to improve our nation and our lot.

So, yes, I am happy to be a citizen of Nigeria. No, I am not happy about my country Nigeria, and I am more unhappy at we Nigerians who have made Nigeria the hell that it actually is. But I have faith in us that one day we will wake up and become responsible and make our nation the illustrious great nation it has the potential to become because I just can not afford to lose faith in Nigerian you and in Nigerian me.
