This is a very stupid question, if they valued your input they won't ask why you should be hired. They need workers to fill a role and you possess the skills they need for the position, anything else is just an excuse to deny your application.

A recruiter will love to know your level of self confidence. You can't win a contract for your coy without showing a level of self confidence.

A marketer will always tell you that his bank is the best, Your confidence level distinguishes you from other applicants even if you have the same work experience

How do you know you are the best when you have not seen other's CVs.

We want to know what makes you the best man for the job and it should be quantifiable, not "my aspiration matches the company objection and mission"

We have onboarding process for a reason.

If you are being considered for a marketing role, how will your addition impact sales and improve revenue.

If you are applying for accounting role, how will your additon help reduce cost and block leakages.

If its production supervisor, how will you improve output, reduce cost and production time while maintaining product quality?

If its for a driver, how will you help reduce maintenance cost?
