Sunisonflex39: That means the soup is not 850. Someone else that doesn't have fish, palm oil or anything at home will spend more than that to make that soup. Your post is misleading. |

IDENNAA: Which oha originated from Anambra? Oha originated from Abia, isiukwuato precisely. It's our village soup and its made with offor or Ukpo not Ede ( cocoa yam). It is ofe Ede aka as bitter leaf soup that Anambrans are known with and that is what you use Ede for. |

Oha is very costly I think that's why op made use of oziza leaf although he would have used bitterleaf instead but it's all nice... Soon I will.drop my own kitchen arrangements.. Nice one op |

Sunisonflex39:you tried but next time, get a good quality ogiri Igbo, I do taste mine while buying. Buy only the one that taste very nice, I prefer extracted water from Palm fruits and when it's time to add my ogiri, I pound enough cleaned crayfish with the ogiri inside small mortar before adding to the soup. Instead of uziza leaves, you can make use of the seed , it taste better with ora. I use ede as thickener except for ofe owerri , ofor is good for ofe owerri. Take it from me a young but well experienced cook 1 Like |

pozehnani: Your post is full of Ignorance and I will advice u not to repeat that again. Nobody drags ofe ora with the originators. bitter leaf is ofe onugbu....I don't know where u lift the ofe ede from. |

Sunisonflex39: Soups are named after the vegetable used in this case it is Uziza soup with Offor as thickner in Igbo but Rivers ppl will call it Native soup.Choose the one you like and modify cos theres no Oha in ur soup. You did well though. Its my favorite soup when i give birth.Just add more udah and Omugwo soup is ready. 1 Like |

Juliusmalema: In my place, we call it ofe ede. but the Anambra people call it ofe onugbu because it's their soup. Yes, ede is used for varieties of soups including ofe owere. |

Sunisonflex39: The point is that the soup is not 850. It's more than that. Someone will look at your soup and expect to buy everything you used for 850. |
