Educate yourself Oga Ade, they receive constituency allowance. It was formally given every 3 month but the duration has been reduced to monthly.

Constituency allowance is what makes their take home swell that's why its called jumbo pay. It comprises of many allowances such as newspaper allowance, domestic staff allowance, wardrobe allowance, travelling allowance and every other allowance you can think of.

Constituency allowance is different from constituency project which is equal amount of money budgeted to all States of the federation including FCT to be allocated to all constituency within that state for project. The legislator influence type of project, contractor and location of the project which gives them opportunity to get certain percentage of the money
