I used stanbic. Go to the bank, show the customer care an example of my bank statement sheet. Explain to them, tell them u want to send ur acc statement to Canada embassy, tell them that u will be charged a fee of 1300 naira or less. Stay there with that staff let he/she send it to the embassy and print ur own copy with my bank statement sheet and give to u. Also ask them to stamp it for you. Shine your eyes let them take u serious. If they say you will get it in your mail, tell them no that u need your own copy. I am speaking from experience. Most of these bank staff don't even know the services and how to render them.
TennieYF:

Is the account a normal account or a mutual funds account? If it's a normal account stanbic does MBS, just send a mail to their customer care, they usually respond with 24 hours.
But if it's a mutual funds account, they do not operate the MBS way yet.
Hope this helps.

[quote author=Msteemuchmo post=101406216]Good Afternoon Everyone,

Please I need some guru's in the building to advice me regarding my student permit application.

I already got letter of acceptance in Manitoba Institutes of Trade and Technology Winnipeg, One year Certificate program.

I also got admission to MITT. Please how did you pay the 5000 tuition deposit?

I need insights from gurus or anyone with knowledgeable experience.

I'm a graduate of biochemistry 2016 though with a lower grade (3rd class). I intend applying to Canadian schools but I have Nursing in mind.. I tried checking online with a few schools and noticed their requirements were quite high. Although, I came across a few post on some other threads were someone mentioned one could take pre-requisites and then do a 2 year program in nursing, I really don't know how true that is.
I'd love to know if it's possible to switch from biochemistry to Nursing, bearing it in mind that I haven't worked with my degree since I graduated in 2016 but I've been working as a female hairstylist.

Anyone with an idea of how to go about this should kindly share his/her view.. I await an honest response. Thanks

Good day everyone...please I have a question I want to ask. I applied to a college in Canada and they ask for my official transcript. I requested for my transcript from my university nd I was told they’ve sent it to the school(I paid for it too) but still yet they said my transcripts were not official...but what can I do?( the deadline is next week). How can they make it official again .....?because my school said this is not the first they will be doing so am confused....what type of official letter is it again.....Please gurus in the house help me.thanks
official transcript is when the school sent your academic records to the school you applied to without you having access to it. I don't think that your school in Nigeria here can send unofficial transcript to Canada except if something is wrong somewhere. Try to ask your school in Canada why they considered the transcript as unofficial since its sent to them directly

Hello everyone. So I had to meet my agent to come and explain what I’m seeing here and it turned out that the agent said he gave someone money who gave another person in Canada the money to pay for my application. Now the person
In Canada called the bank after the payment to cancel all transactions on his card. And the money was collected back from
IRCC, in the procedural letter they sent me they asked why I charged back the money and I told them it bounced back. And I told
The agent to make the payment again.

I’m confused at people’s negligence and unseriousness.

Please what can I do at this point ? Help!!!

Hello house,
Has anyone who applied for GCMS notes in mid January 2021 received them?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Onaya(m): 6:26pm On May 05, 2021
Congratulations!

Please, how did you contact the the notary lawyer for his services? Where can I find one? And what's the likely cost of securing their services for a notarized affidavit of support?

Kindly reply back to me.

NwanyiOkpa:
It has finally ended in praise for me. God bless Frankrobbn, Justmellow, and the many others that have been giving me hope and answering all my plenty of questions. Note that I used an agent or my application because i was too busy with work to continually study the tips on this thread and apply them. I am a second-time applicant.

Timeline:
January 20th: Medical done
January 27th: Application submitted with all NSE requirements- Sponsor's 1-year Mybankstatement of about 11million, IELTS result with 7.5 band, and Medical result.
February 20th
February 26th: Second ghost update
March 4th: Third ghost update
March 9th: Fourth ghost update
May 4th: PPR and correspondence letter

Reason for the first refusal: They said that my finance wasn't sufficient even after i submitted an account statement of 12million and paid my first-semester tuition.

How i tackled the refusal: I paid the full tuition for the first year, provided the sponsor's account statement of 11million and i also made a notarised affidavit of sponsorship signed by my sponsor. I did not use a notarised affidavit of sponsorship in my first application but i used an affidavit from the high court. A friend advised me to use a notary lawyer for my affidavit and so far, everyone that i know that used a notary lawyer was approved. Notarised documents are recognized worldwide.

Documents submitted:
All IMM forms
Tuition payment receipt CAD$21,000
notarised affidavit of sponsorship
notarised affidavit of good behavior
police report
IELTS result
medical slip
letter of explanation
passport photograph
data page of passport
sponsor's birth certificate (sponsor is my brother)
CAC document for my business
Employment letter
Recommendation letter

NOTE: I used an agent for my application. There are a few agents that knows what they are doing. My agent did not hold back my login details like other complained about.

I got admitted into about 7 schools in the USA also but I decided to go to Canada for reasons best known to me.

God wey do am for me go do am for una.

I am so excited. As i dey type sef, my fingers dey shake. Immediately i logged in and saw that my application has been updated i was like; "these people with their ghost updates again" before i clicked on the application and saw my correspondence letter and PPR. I immediately ran and woke my dad from sleep to break the good news to him. He has always been supportive.
