OP: if you follow all these people quoting all these expenses and excuses, you will never start your business. At least start small and progress from there.

Oga she doesn't need all those heavy utensils. Let me give examples. A dozen of plastic flat plates #1,800, small pot for stew #800, a dozen of spoon #300, A bag of satchet water #300, 2tubers of yam #1,600, Potato #1,000, Plantain #1,500, a table and bench #7,500, firewood #1,500. Rough estimate for all these #16,300. Don't know the price of that big umbrella. But if you are using gas your estimate might increase. Just trying to help her start cause she doesn't need to start on a big scale. As the business progresses you can start adding other things. Hope it helps

The cheapest beans now is 400 per derica. Except you want to be buying in very small quantities but oil is what takes most part of the capital because you must have extra oil in case. God help you if you buy the type that dissipates fast.

Just budget 50k.
