Spurs were in 14th position when Mourinho arrived. He didn’t meet Spurs in top 4.

And this was a Spurs side that had the same manager for 6 years. It wasn’t as if Poch was still new at the job. He’d had close to 6 years to fine tune the team to its taste and style and yet he plunged them to 14th position without a trophy.

You can’t blame Mourinho for Poch’s failure.

What position was Pep earlier in the season after 4 seasons in the league

Pandemic season without a preseason.

It’s not reflective of how his teams operate. It’s a one off incident that we might never see again.

Even the PL had to delay City/United’s first PL games because the two teams went the furthest in Europe last season and had to resume the a new season in the PL within a month or so.

Kingsley Coman is the luckiest player on the planet.

He’s had 10 seasons in his football career and he has won a league title in each of those 10 seasons.

Dude has more league titles than Cristiano and his contribution in those titles is less than 10%.

If you are going to use Poch's previous season to say Mourinho didn't improve Spurs, then that attached Pic is wrong because Ole has not improved Manchester United. He didn't guide us to a top 4 finish when he replaced Mourinho and in his first season, whilst he finished 3rd which isn't better than what Mou achieved, he was knocked out of the UCL in the group stage this season...

Mou finished 2nd with 81pts whilst with us, has Ole equaled or bettered that? No...

Mou won the UEL, has equaled or bettered that? No...

Mou took us past the group stage of the UCL, has Ole bettered that? No...

Mou won the Caraboa cup, has Ole bettered that? No...

If you are saying Mou didn't better Poch after replacing him by using Poch's previous season best, then we have no model for which to judge Mou as he has not had a full season with Spurs because he was still in with a chance to make the top 4 and win the Caraboa cup...

I know you will likely read the above and still argue but this is the most I can do...

To those saying he fields 7 defensive players, tuchel’s team still manage to possess the ball a lot.

Most who beat city don’t do it convincingly, with tuchel I think pep has met his match.
