Hello,

I'm about to apply for study visa to high school for my younger sister, can my mum use her business account as proof of fund NB: she doesn't pay tax;

Also, can a relative in the diaspora act as the only sponsor?

A deed of gift from sponsor? That doesn't sound logical in the immigration terms. He should rather state it on his letter of sponsorship and affidavit of support that he has transferred a certain amount to demonstrate his financial capability of sponsoring your studies in Canada.

Sorry to draw your attention back Mr Frank. Does it mean getting a financial gift deed from a sponsor or co-sponsor isn't reasonable?
I ask because a sum of 10 mil was gifted to me by the person I used as a consponsor, though he is not related to me but has shown enough financial commitment towards me and my studies from way back, after father's death(was a close friend of father). I did a gift deed to that regard and I used him as a co-sponsor in my sop(though I am self sponsored since the money in my account plus the one he gifted me will be enough for my studies).

Hello everyone,

Please I need your input. My admission letter is titled "Official admission approval" but it states that I should send my official transcript and certificate as a condition I need to fulfill. Please do I need to explain in my SOP that I have started processing my transcripts?

That ks for your assuring response

When I went for the biometrics, my bank statement hard copies was with me but they did not collect it, and also I have not done medical.... Where can I submit the bank statement and can I do medical upfront if yes where please......

Ade2303:

Hello egaji83,

Your application is just in its early stage, there are still series of steps and phases it needs to go through before you can be contacted for any update.

I don’t know if your application is paper based or online, either of the two, there are one or two factors that could hasten your application a bit;

If you submit NSE documents I.e IELTS results, MyBankStatement and upfront medicals.
You could be contacted faster that the normal route application.

Even though most people that applied with NSE documents in the past got their application finalized in 2-4/5 months while people that applied through normal route got theirs finalized within 6 months maximum except for some few applications.

So just stay calm, check your application status from time to time, hope for the best and PRAY WELL.

It will surely end in praise.

Please I'm concerned with an issue. I have a B.sc Computer science but I want to apply for Economics, Business Admin or something similar for Masters. I have 3 years experience as an inventory officer in a supermarket. Would that be possible?

I will suggest you stick to computer science if you finished with a 2.1. The three (3) years experience as an inventory officer is not a justifiable ground for you to opt for an MBA. More importantly, do you've a registered business?

Your mum can sponsor her education in Canada with a business account. However, she needs to provide a reference letter from the bank confirming that she is the sole signatory to her account.

A close relative (siblings preferably) resident abroad can act as a co-sponsor to her application.

From my vast experiences, I don't believe it sound reasonable to the visa officer should an applicant use a deed of gift for someone who has already declared interest to sponsor their education in Canada. In most cases, applicants only include a gift deed for someone who is not standing as a guarantor and the deed was primarily prepared out of love and affection the person has towards the academic and career growth of the applicant. Given that he is your co-sponsor, he could have transferred the money into your account and clearly state same in his co-sponsorhip letter to buttress his financial reliability. Nonetheless, different strokes for different folks. You might be the first person to have used this financial strategy for the visa officer's. Since you've already submitted your file to the immigration, you should be positive.

Frank I already submitted my application January 12, I just requested for the gcms April and got it may 6th.

So you gave that advice, how should I do it now? How should I tackle this issue, the one of sponsor.

I have addressed your concerns on how to tackle the issue of sponsorship from a third party (Uncle). Kindly refer to my previous post.

Hi guys. I’m new here. I’m interested in getting an MBA from Canada and I’d like to know the affordable schools with the same tuition range as Memorial University of Newfoundland. I’m currently preparing for my GRE exam to hopefully apply this year against next year but MUN’s next intake is September 2022. I graduated in December 2019 with 3.82GPA and since then, I’ve been running my own brand.
Also, is there anyone here currently in the MBA program at Memorial University? How’s the experience?

Google can get you all you need. I dont think GRE is required to secure an admission.

Using a business account is a red flag but using a personal account is better .

Your mum sponsoring her daughter is far stronger than a relative.

Lol
I do not believe using your parent's business account is a red flag though
So far there is enough evidence of sole ownership

Gift deed is advisable for mostly PR applicants though.

I’ve not seen it work for TRV, (not impossible in any way though).
I will just suggest you go with sponsorship letter from the potential sponsor to avoid the VOs curiosity which you won’t be there to answer.

Hi egaji83
You're totally doing it the wrong way. From what I understand, it doesn't seem like you have submitted a complete study permit application. You need to create a GCkey...fill a questionnaire...download some IMM forms. If you are not a minor, it should be 3 IMM forms. One for the application, one for Family Information and one Schedule form if I can remember correctly. Then, you'll proceed to filling and uploading those forms alongside some other documents like Client Information, Proof of Funds, Your international passport, your photograph and some others. After uploading all documents, you'll proceed to make payment for your application which is 235CAD for new applicants and 150CAD for second time applicants. You'll be sent an Acknowledgement of Receipt from IRCC after this and a Biometrics Request. I hope this helps.

All my best!

Can my friend in canada do it. If yes what does he need to do.
