Central African security forces on Monday got hold of a Frenchman who was holding significant military effects at his home. The man identified as Juan Rémy Quignolot of French nationality and aged 55 was arrested at his home by the police. It was during a search of his home in Bangui that a large arsenal of war was discovered. The Frenchman's arrest was confirmed by the security council of President Faustin Touadéra, Valery Zakharov. “A foreign citizen was arrested in Bangui today with a huge amount of weapons and ammunition. An investigation is underway and the circumstances need to be clarified, ”Russian Valery Zakharov announced in a tweet. According to local media, the suspect who introduced himself as a journalist is one of the former trainers of the fighters of the former rebel Seleka coalition. An investigation is underway. https://www.koaci.com/article/2021/05/11/centrafrique/politique/centrafrique-un-francais-arrete-a-bangui-en-possession-dun-important-arsenal-de-guerre_150927.html 7 Likes 2 Shares

This is an interesting case. The man does have a military look about him, but he only has three rifles and one semi-auto handgun in his possession. That M16, the scoped Remington Model 700, the handgun, and that single-barreled shotgun are a small collection that certainly does no qualify to be called an "arsenal". The man's collection looks more geared towards home defense and recreational hunting, than any sort of military endeavor. 79 Likes 6 Shares

Plus5: Ha ha you ain't lyin brother. Another baffling observation I note is that the scoped rifle and the shotgun are seriously rusted on the external surface of the barrels, as though he was out of town for a long time, and couldn't trust anyone else to oil and clean them up. No hunter worth his salt would allow his guns to rust in that way. This is a very odd case indeed. 19 Likes 1 Share |

The Europeans will never leave Africa alone. It is a source of their lavish lifestyles. If Francophone African countries abandon France today, France's GDP will drop like a huge rock thrown into a pond. And those countries will have the resources to lift their citizens from the clutches of poverty. 25 Likes 2 Shares |

This is how France has been supplying Boko Haram with weapons to create avenue for Nigeria to spend big on military hardwares. But unfortunately, asides the fact that politicians (and top soldiers) will embezzle part of the funds, they will buy substandard weapons for the Nigerian army, then draft non Fulani soldiers to war zone to go and perish. France, USA, Israel, Serbia, Russia, white South Africans, etc are the biggest winners any where there's instability in Africa because they will supply weapons to the opponents, then urge the country to buy ammunitions from them. Also, E.U countries like U.K will solicit for funds from E.U purse claiming it's for aid. What they will then do is spend all most of the money to buy British products then donate them to the unfortunate ones. 25 Likes 4 Shares |

This dude is just a weapons buff, a little crazy maybe, but what he has there is not more that what he'd need to defend himself in a frontier town like Bangui And why is a Russian running comms for them if this isn't all about 1 Like 1 Share |

Assuming it was one country that I know, because of the color of his skin, they will assume he can do no wrongooo The military will even salute him ontop when he's crossing the checkpoints... the police will help him hold his briefcase probably filled with dangerous weapons...That country loves anyone with fair skin even the albinos 6 Likes 1 Share |

NarcoPolo: "just a weapon buff"? These are the guys who illegally mine minerals while supplying weapons to the rebels that have continuously fought every government in that country.. CAR has been going through western instigated wars since the days of Emperor Bokassa, who was just an ordinary lieutenant in the French overseas army. The French organized a coup against the democratically elected government to impose an unlettered Bokassa as president and the guy used the national budget to organize a coronation ceremony where he made himself an Emperor! When the French got tired of him, they also organized a fresh coup to get rid of him .. Basically using the country as a huge experimental lab to practice their political fantasies.. Since then, the CAR has never known peace. Russian soldiers are there with the Rwandese now.. Countless french induced coups and wars over the years... It's a vast country, little population, but "blessed" with huge mineral deposits just next door to Congo kinshasa, another minerals behemoth, so the west won't let go. One of their presidents, Bozizze or so even visited Nigeria many years back to seek for help and protection, but Nigeria is a basket case itself. Libya sent in soldiers under Gadaffi and helped to protect the government and stabilize the country. But then NATO killed Gadaffi, Libyan soldiers went back home and another round of turmoil was unleashed. These guy above is part of the problem. They are all economic terrorists, killing locals like game animals to steal gems and other minerals for free. Money made from this is used to keep the country devided and fighting endlessly, since stability leads to effective governance which may end the looting... 57 Likes 10 Shares |

He should be milked like a cow till he starts looking really anorexic. He should be folded, then thrown in a toilet. The litres of milk derived from him should then be used to flush the toilet. |

I believe since it is CAR, the weapons most likely are for the Selekas (Fulanis). We know that the Anti-Balakas (conglomerate of other tribes) did not have access to this kind of weapons because the people were kept out of the government at the center. This is exactly what they are doing in Nigeria. But thank God for the brave Igbos and the now awaken MB/NC. Hope the SW will come around quick while the ever jittery minorities of the SS drop their hatred for the Igbos and join in protecting their flank. While we know the true cause of the problems in CAR, my analysis might be totally wrong. 12 Likes 1 Share |
