My brother you need to pay more attention to your car .. The recommended engine oil should be on the oil cap . The oil cap is very easy to locate each car varies, but easy to locate .. Below is an example of a 2010 corolla oil cap and location of oil cap ......

5w20 is recommended oil .. I also own a fleet of civics 03 to 05 very good cars if taken care of and easy to maintain .. And make sure u use the recommended transmission fluid at all times.......

The engine can tolerate abuse , but the transmission will not tolerate any abuse . it will end in tears you will going to 1 Honda parts dealers to another to get another transmission.. Last last na rubbish parts dealers go sell to you .....

Am talking ftom experience....A word is enough for the wise

Transmission fluid is not what you change anyhow like engine oil . before changing transmission fluid check with a good mechanic if you can find any one .... If the transmission is still pink color it means it is still good....

But whatever be the case check with a qualified mechanic before proceeding ......

Happy Holidays!

I am experiencing a continuous flunctuating rpm (it suddenly goes up and sometimes takes a while before returning to normal) on my 07 Honda civic both while in idle and in motion. Throttle body has been changed, Cam shaft sensor cleaned. Car has been scanned and currently no codes.
I need help with possible solution or a competent mechanic around Ojodu berger. Thanks

Good evening guys. I have 98 CR-V. The power steering is very normal in the morning, but becomes very hard after about 10 minutes drive. It stays hard throughout the day till the next morning. What could be the problem.
There is fluid in the cup

Good evening here, I'm currently having issue with my Honda Civic 2009 model. The car will just stop accelerating while in motion and the engine will not off, it will not raise while matching the throttle, if I off the engine and I some minutes I will work when I on the ignition again. Please what could be the culprit. I have changed fuel pump three times.

Please sir how did you solve this problem, this is v exactly how my Honda Civic 2008 is doing now.
ahmstrng:
Engineers. I need help o. Was traveling with my accord 2010 v6. Half way through the trip. I noticed the car doesn’t accelerate properly again. Its jacks when ever i step on the pedal. Until i gently put pressure on it before it moves further. Occasionally powering off the engine until i restart it.
I suspected the fuel pump, stopped at a road side mechanic to have the fuel pump replaced. He checked the pump and said its likely weak. Bought a brand new one cause he said belgium pumps are mainly luck. I set out on my trip again and after 20 to 30 min. The accelerator wasnt working again and the car started jacking again. Speed reduced from 120 to 80 to 60. To 40. I had to manage 40km/h to my destination. It was a horrible trip. Please could it be the new pump is also faulty. Or their are other underlying issues here. Ps after getting to my destination when i tested the car after few hours. It functioned properly. Until after about an hour of driving it then i noticed i have to floor the accelerator before it even gets to 60km/h. Please any advice.

Please sir, hope you have fixed this problems? If yes what was the culprit of the problem 2 that's what I'm currently facing with my car now same model with yours
Admin9:
Hello,

My car has very much problems and i am fed up due to the lack of good mechanic and electricians here in delta state.

problem 1: Dashboard: The fuel meter doesn't read. The temperature of the car doesn't also read. I have given it to different electricians and they couldn't fix it.

problem 2: The vehicle doesn't raise. When i start the engine of the vehicle and press on the trottle, It doesn't raise until i turn off and turn on the engine severally.

problem 3: I can't control all the glasses with the control switch in the driver side. The central lock doesn't also work.

vehicle: Honda pilot 2002 model.

Advise needed please. I am running mad
