Unless the country is restructured in less than 5 years i dont see Nigeria existing.
i dont see igbos grabbing niger delta tribes by force but they will definitely go for the south south igbos from delta down to Rivers wether it is with force or with peace i dont really know how.
igbos know southeast is small, and it makes no sense that that igbo speakers are ceded to the southsouth while southeast is not even as big as some states in the north.if southeast igbos lay claim to south south igbos no tribe in the Niger delta would interfere or wage war against igbos because it would be every man for himself and a family afair, when the time comes

A lot of dynamics are at play, it is difficult to tell exactly what will happen then.

Except South South and South East merge together to form a country, I don't think any of them can get independent on their own

It get why

When old Western region and Eastern region was dissolved, Gowon the evil genius cunningly cut out majority of where concentration of Igbos are out of the border line.. I am not saying the indigenous Igbos in SS don't share border with SE but if you look at it in extension, you should get what I mean.

If SE people want to claim their land back, before they can get to where the concentration of Igbos are, they must have overtaken some South South land...

they don't have the right to grab any SS tribe by force, this is not 18BC. Ibos in SS will go along with their SE brothers

The one I find most interesting is that of the Edos...

When Biafra map is done, Edo is not included.

When Oduduwa map is done, no Edo.

Middle belt Map, no Edo...

So if Nigeria breaks up, will Edo become its own country?

In the event of a break up, I forsee Edo State becoming a Switzerland or Luxemburg... Neutral & prosperous...

We've never laid claims to South South, except when their leadership willingly agree, example is the Biafra Nigerian war. Some parts agreed while some didn't.

You can't force a people to a union it will end bad.

Biafraland is bigger than many independent states in Europe.

When Nigeria breaks up, you will find out that the so called SS/ SE will no longer exist, they actually dont exist as the constitution does not recognize them. The only thing that will matter are the ethnic nationalities.

Most people will choose to be in the same country with those they speak the same language with, rather than those they dont know what they are saying. All the Igbo speaking people in Nigeria, Anioma, Ikwerre, Delta Igbo, Rivers Igbo and the Igbos of the lower Benue, will all go as one country

As for the Ijaws, Ogonis, Binis, Uhrobos, Ibibios, Efiks etc, they are in a hell of a mess because the only thing that actually brings them together are Igbos, only Igbos and Igbo speaking people have land border with all of them. It is virtually impossible for these tribes to to come together and form any country on their own. It will be interesting to see what happens

One of the core reason Ikwerre don't accept the Igbo tag is because of Biafra. Call them Igbo and see them tell you to your face they are not Biafrans. This is as a result of their hellish experience during the war. Ikwerres were refuges in mainland Igbo, and the experience was bitter. They came back to their land and experienced another marginalization from FG Ijaw backed Rivers state. This experience is not what you will want a repeat of.
Funny enough, bulk of Ikwerre people fought on the side of Biafra, during the civil war. In a nutshell, forget Biafra. Go for a restructured Nigeria.

Why must they overtake SS first before they take their land? What business does an efik/ibibio or bini or ijaw man have when igbos and their offshoot groups in the ss are doing their business that they must overtake the entire ss? Between anioma and anambra there are no itshekiri or bini in between, between ikwerre, etche etc and abia/imo there's no ijaw or ogoni territory Inbetween or you didn't do geography at any point in your life ?Don't allow me insult you this morning

Easy bro, read my comments again.

I said before they get to where the indigenous Igbos are, they must have overtaken some SS land which doesn't make sense

The civil was was tagged Biafra war cos Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna are from old Eastern region which is now present day SS and SE..

Its impossible for ijaw, ibibio, bini etc to form a country but Nigeria with over 200 ethnic groups is a country.
Some of u igbo chaps feel the world revolves around you meanwhile it doesn't.
In niger delta almost everyone has sea access, oil, good land and infrastructure, ibibio/efik or ijaw which would be the largest groups can't still overwhelmingly dominate without support from several other groups unlike what u have here in Nigeria.
Worry about ur biafra and let us worry about niger delta, know this and know peace.
Besides u claim its only igbo land that connects us and thats crap, from the ogoja territory down to to ibibio land u can navigate without going through the se, now from ikot abasi the ibibios connect to the ijaw in obolo lga of rivers, as usual the ijaws own the coast from there through bayelsa down to ondo where they now border the bini, urhobo and esan by land. I've just gone from the two farthest points in the niger delta without going through even the igboid tribes in the ss so brother don't feel too much about urself

Yes there is and even if they join igbos in biafra there is no way it'll affect any other ss ethnic group even the slightest bit, go and re learn geography of the two regions and stop typing what you don't know

Look at who's talking! The Devil's Secretary. Being the Devil's advocate makes you lesser than the demons, are you aware?
I mean to compliment you.

We have indigenous people in South-South, how about that?

Give me theoretical explanation as to why you're thinking the niger delta is not possible without the igbos? Realistically the igbos are surrounded by enemies and pissing off the SS which is your only ally is not a sound strategy, I'm beginning to believe you're not even igbo sef.
