An unidentified man reportedly slumped and died while jogging at Brass Junction in Aba, Abia State, IgbereTV reports

According to a staff nurse, Chioma Ofuche, who shared the photos on Sunday, March 16, the young man was brought to her hospital were he was confirmed dead. No form of identification was found on him.

Sharing the deceased's photos on Facebook, Chioma Ofuche wrote;

"Attention Attention Attention!!! This guy here was brought to my hospital this morning by some groups of boys they said he slumped at brass junction while hugging by the time he was brought to the hospital he was already dead now no identify please if this post get to your forward it to other people for clam's the body is still at brass junction now"

I have heard so many joggers collapse but I hardly hear that a cycler died
At least if u get tired u can't ride a bicycle

I prefer cycling to jogging

Firstly, it wasn't March 16th, it was May 16th on an early Sunday morning.

The incident took place just around Brass junction and he had no means of identification on him nor a mobile phone with which any of his family members could have been contacted.

Too sad that he died.

He was warned on Sunday morning by his friends not to go on road walk. They begged him to come follow them play street football that Sunday morning. He refused. He come slump at Brass junction.

Nah. These people that died had underlying medical conditions.

I have been jogging everyday for the past 13 years both at home and away and I can tell you it relieves my stress and I hardly fall sick apart from occasional headaches from working. It helps me maintain my weight and keep my youthful features. When I tell people I am in my thirties they exclaim in disbelief because I look younger.

Low sugar n some other underlying health condition. So sad.

specialist do preach the need of exercises to keep fit but they hardly talk about the health implications of doing rigorous exercises for people battling hidden sickness n ailments..
they is a need for us to engage in check up at least once a month like I do but my country people dnt care about such because of the fear of selfish specialist billing them n creating fear in them over minor ailments all bcoz of money..
this country eeh, na GOD dey help n dts why i avoid problem bcoz some people aint dt physically strong as they think..

The next thing you will see them do is to give milk and malt with good intentions (not every fainted person is hypoglycemic) but not knowing that they are complicating things by blocking his airways.

funny u....all.sports or exercise gat its own pros n cons because all involves the heart pumping blood to the rest of the body...
if someone have heart issues, it doesn't matter they type of sports you do because when it comes, it would surely take you..
I have heard so.many real life cases of people slumping to death when strolling, walking or even at home relaxing...
make we jus de pray for grace n its about fatigue or the kinda sports..
