I don't know about Asa but I know about Ndoki being Ijaw. I have an Ijaw friend from Ndoki who answers Igboid names but acknowledges himself to be Ijaw.

Please stop referring Obigbo as Oyigbo. I was born and raise within the vicinity. I sold my mothers table salt at Eke Obigbo before and immediately after the Nigeria/Biafra war. It was not Oyigbo in 1970 to 1976 when Obigbo was part of Asa County Council and later Ukwa LGA, East Central State until 1976 draconian boundary adjustment when Obigbo was ceded to Rivers State hence Bori LGA. I was a member of the youths who removed the first signboard mounted by the idiotic chairman of Bori LGA which depicted Obigbo as Oyigbo. There is no statutory law in Rivers State which changed Obigbo to Oyigbo. In addition, If Obigbo is even Ogoni talk less Ijaw, Umuebele (Umuobulu) and Iriebe are Ijaw.

It is rightly called OYIGBO.

As IPOB goes about pursuing their course, they must understand that the people of Rivers State cannot be forced into being Biafrans.

I agree with you. I really wish Biafra can just limit themselves to the just the Igbo affiliated areas, cos adding my people ijaw and other tribes is just unnecessary extra baggage. My people, ijaws are too lazy and selfish to be included in Biafra. I agree, even if it means to go to war to bring back all Igbo speaking areas, it should be done. No Igbo person or land be given to Nigeria or any group.
