I have only noticed that the option to turn off MIUI optimization has been removed from Developer Options

click on that "Reset to default values" and you will have MIUI OPTIMIZATION feature appear there.

Not like that, this is my first time of using Redmi Product and they have already sent 12.0.4 to me before, after I saw that 12.0.5 is coming I just wait for it.
Since, it is my first i just want to know the guide around installing it and if there is any issue with the update before I would update cause I only have one phone so as to save myself from any issue that might arise because of the update.

Hello guys,nice work going on here.
A problem just recently started occurring with my phone (redmi note 8 ),the power button doesn't work and when I try to reduce the volume of the phone it goes down completely. Even as I type right now the volume would just go down to the lowest without being triggered. I tried rebooting the phone but it got stuck on 'fast boot' repeatedly,I was only able to turn it back on by holding the volume up button and the power button when it was just showing fast boot.
I have tried freeing up space but the problem persists, please what should I do?,I was told by a friend that the O.S crashed.
What can I do to fix this issue?

*Update on the issue*
I got it fixed today at a phone repair shop,It turns out something was blocking the power and volume buttons,I didn't need a replacement at all. I don't get the QMMI and fastboot wahala anymore either.

There are sellers on the Xiaomi thread store that sells the pouch. Scroll through their offerings and contact one of them.

does Dolby Atmos contribute to audio output using a wired earpiece? I remember days ago when you talked about Dolby Atmos appearing as a sound effect after the update of 12.5.1 on Redmi note 10 pro. Does this mean that this is the only time it has a direct effect on external audio devices like earpiece, bluetooth speakers, etc?
