change of name doesn't help in proving marriage. After all some Nigerians have used common law relation to get PR.

I can 110% tell you no country has asked me for change of name after 11 years of marriage..we have successfully applied as a family to UK, US, Canada, UAE..your marriage certificate is sufficient. At most I go with my children's birth certificate when travelling with them alone without hubby, just incase an immigration officer asks about our name difference- which has never happened to date. Your decision to change or not change your name is your personal and legal right, in Nigeria and at least all the counties I mentioned above.
The decision is entirely up to you and your spouse, Period.

Please do not waste money on tutors, there are enough practice materials online and free tutoring on Youtube. With those, all he needs to do is to practice questions and watch YouTube videos. The only cost is just for data

Wouldn't say it's a waste. Everyone is different. Sometimes we can't see our mistakes the way someone else will especially in writing.

So my school just wants to mess me up, I am a lawyer and requested that my transcript should be sent to IQAS via email since March which they said they have sent out. I got worried after 2 months and my status was still showing waiting for transcript, I begged a friend to go to the school records unit and realized that they sent it out via DHL Express instead. I called DHL and gave them the tracking number, lo and behold, an item that was sent out on March 23rd got to IQAS on May 19th and they couldn't explain why. My major concern now is that my school wrote "WES Reference number " on the package instead of "IQAS FILE NUMBER" but with my correct IQAS number, I really dont know what to do and if they will process it with such a mistake. Also, I indicated in my application that my transcript will be sent by email but it was sent via courier. It's been a week since I confirmed they have received it but my status has not be updated yet. Will this affect my application? What should I do please?

When evaluating a law-degree with WES, what certificates should be sent in other to get “two or more” degree equivalence . I know IQAS gives a masters degree equivalence but from my findings, their processing timeline is too long and it’s just too much wahala to pay.
So I don’t mind using WES.
Please help. Asking for a friend.

One year of work experience is:
* 30 hours per week full time for 12 months or
* 15 hours per week part time for 24 months.

While you were termed "contract staff" did you work 30 hours a week, were you paid, is the job NOC 0, A or B, can you get a reference letter with Job Description matching NOC etc?

Wes will evaluate as a bachelor’s degree and another certificate. Don’t waste your money. Speaking from experience.

Ermm that’s not why she got a PFL. People bear their maiden names around the world and it’s not an alien concept.

Go for IQAS Bro. IQAS is fast this days. IQAS is now less than 8 weeks.

You can submit ur application on IQAS, exactly 3;15pm Nigerian Time. Keep trying 3;15pm each day, it will surely go through.

Add law school BL To LLB , but it’s much more profitable to ignore the stress and use IQAS.

You’ll need to have your payment method handy not someone helping you pay, open the tab on multiple devices and neon the website before 3.15 MST(Alberta time). All the best

Use the wes degree equivalency tool on their website , there’s also a list of schools they work with and other commentaries in the table on the wes website.

In 2018 money was almost complete, wrote IELTS LSWR 8877 one sitting, hubby did the same and did WES. no MSC for me but hubby had MSC but he was above 40 so i had to do principal applicant. Applied in september 2019, 14days after application , nomination came. got approved nomination in december 6 2019. got ITA in december 14, 2019. i rolled on the floor that day in public.

The target for the special measure is 90,000 permanent residents.

I still have application with CES.....they told me 25-30 weeks cos I sent via DHL but if u send via email 15-20 weeks..

IQAS is now okay, just try to send via email people now get within 10weeks but their normal processing time is 15weeks.

Good morning my people. I wanted to ask based on this change of name issue. Will it affect if you want to apply for a new bode's passport? Seeing as courts are even on strike now and we can't even do affidavit?Does it also affect the whole application process after ITA?

No this only means the application that was received in the last week will be completed before December (d normal 6months for completion because most of them are applications with persons already in canada)
