Thank you very much for your response
Your arrangement will duly be emulated.
God bless you.

base83:

1. Yes I PDF the documents into one PDF for each section. After combining I compressed to meet the specifications

2. The tenancy agreement mentioned is for my sponsor with his tenant, to show source of income (I mentioned in my sop that most of the funds for my school will come from his rental income)

3. No, but I used sub headings like Why MBA, why Canada, family etc

Hello everyone, submitted my application April 23rd and NSE request followed 26th. Decided to ignore it and sent them a message via web form to process my application normally without NSE.
NSE deadline was yesterday May 27th but I noticed a ghost update on the 23rd. Please does this mean that they have started reviewing my application?
Eligibility hasn’t started on my profile yet

Please someone should help me with this answer

I'm yet to do biometrics and medicals. Also applied with just screenshot evidence of CAQ application. The CAQ approval letter just came and I'm waiting to upload everything after biometrics and medicals next week.

Does this mean eligibility and background checks has started already?

As long as you do not submit NSE requirement, do not expect your application to be given priority. Eligibility review status or ghost update is not a reliable indicator of what's truly going on in the background. Any update is just a sign that something might be going on, but we can't truly tell.

I’d advise you send your acceptance letter ASAP cause it’s part of the compulsory documents.

Good morning all. I’m just curious to know how people coped while waiting for PPR OR eligibility review. To think I just applied and I can barely do anything without thinking of my application. Is it really possible to get your mind off it??

Honestly, I don’t know some ppl handled 8 months of this wait. Barely a month since submission and I’m always on this thread or checking my email. Waiting for something to drop. I’ve tried focusing on other things but I just keep coming back here.

Quick question, for NSE request, which IELTS is better, general or Academic??

Guy if you like yourself, upload the CAQ immediately and ensure it is acknowledged. They are checking your eligibility this fast because you didn’t submit all the right documents. Screenshots of application for CAQ is not CAQ approval and will never be considered as one. It is clearly stated on the CAQ and CIC website that you need the approval letter to apply for the visa.

Upload your letter immediately!!!!!

Eligibility may be fast because I submitted with NSE requirements. I've done the needful now.

Thanks for your advice make my village people no win ooo...lol

30k CAD (inclusive of tuition fee) is enough for a self sponsored applicant going for a 1 year program. If you're going for 2 years program, funds available must cover the entire 2 years duration. I'm estimating a little above 55k cad for you, or you provide a convincing explanation in regards to where the fund for your second year will come from. This is just an opinion.

Does providing a convincing explanation (without showing proof) on how I expect to raise the tuition for the second year suffice? I am self-sponsored, I present my bank statement showing 30k CAD to cover my first year tuition and living expense and then say my husband will support my second year tuition, do I need to attach his bank statement?

Hello Prisscindy,

Good to have you here on the student thread. I don't know if I clearly understand PA's situation here, but the implication of enrolling as a part-time student may impact PA's PGWP application in the long run.

If PA enrolls as a part-time student, the study or PA's academic status will no longer be considered as full-time.

Whether or not PA has yet to get the visa, all academics done online from outside Canada until December 31, 2021, upon approval or pending approval will be entered in the academic transcript.

The courses enrolled and taken as part-time will reflect so. PA should kindly reconfirm from the DLI so they can reaffirm that the already registered courses were noted as full-time or what the deal is.

Cheers!

She has finished one trimester, registered as part time, it was actually the university that registered her as part time. She registered the new trimester as part time too but I would tell her to increase the number of courses so it'd be full time.

Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't know it has got something to do with PGWP though. She's an undergraduate student, do you think it could be made up since she is supposed to finish in 4 years?

Moreover, her dad was of the opinion she changes her course to nursing when she gets to Canada.

I heard either one can serve. Some people wrote General and got approval as well. I’ve written both though I submitted my application with “Academics”. I’ll definitely say general is easier.

NB:
My General got expired and I wrote Academics because of study route; but that was before I heard General can serve too.
U can still seek the opinions of “Gurus” in the house.

Yes, pls attach his statement and in your explanation of how you'll pay, make sure you show evidence of the points you are making. Although you should note frm experience the more the documents submitted for review, the longer the eligibility review takes. Goodluck to us all

I remember you once advised i could apply for a post graduate diploma and change to normal diploma after my student permit has been approved. I hear now you have to apply again for a new student permit afresh. Should i just apply for the normal diploma directly or still apply for the post graduate diploma first. Also, can one change one's course before traveling to Canada or after? Thank you.

I will advise you go for the PGD program and upon arrival in Canada you can initiate the transfer of DLI.

The other supporting documents spaces listed on your MYCIC account are columns where you can upload your immigration documents. You can't download them.
