Hello, I use a redmi note 8 but i don't get mtn 4g+ in where i stay, i only get 4g infact i've never gotten 4g+ since i started using it, whereas my room mates thats uses samsung s8+ and s9+ gets 4g+ and able to browse well with mtn...i'm considering getting redmi note 10 pro, will i get 4g+ connectivity on it? And is it that redmi note 8 doesn't support 4g+ connectivity? Or theres a way to get around it? Please i need answers to this, thank you.
I moved from redmi note 8T to the redmi note 10 pro, on both devices I had/have 4G+ on both mtn and glo. I guess the problem you are experiencing is in the coverage you get, try using your phone in another location and see.

Hello guys...
Please I'm thinking of purchasing the Redmi 9T, as that's the phone my money can afford for now.
Please is it advisable.
I have read some bad reviews and honestly, I'm beginning to have a change of mind.
Someone mentioned that the hotspot keeps disconnecting. Another mentioned that it gets slow all of a sudden. Another mentioned that the 48mp camera is scam, and so on.
I'm just confused as to whether these are general problems for redmi 9T or it's just their own phone.
And for those that have used it, were you able to get 4G+ on mtn??

This is supposed to be my first xiaomi phone. Please I need guidance.
Thanks as I await your responses.

I will advise you to use the third party repairers we have around here

Okay but why bro?

Why you should use a 3rd party? Go to Raya, lay your complain, fill the form and wait weeks/months.

Good luck to you.

Oh! It's a screen issue and you're looking for service centre? You'll get the bill that will buy you a new phone. That's if they even have the LCD avail.

For now OEM Charger. But I am pretty sure I will get a Baseus charger later on.

Okay but why bro?

It is faster and since you are outside the warranty period cheaper.

Even if it the third-party is expensive. I will rather get my phone back to service within hours than have my phone spend weeks on queue in a service centre.

The people I have recommended it to haven't complained of any. I bet you the good reviews surpasses the bad by a long mile.

If you are only looking at the few bad complaints you will never get any phone.

For someone that was using Mi9t before I find the Redmi note 10 pro very underwhelming and below par. It was a very bad choice for me and if not for the circumstances by which I purchased the phone I'd have sold it off ASAP. To make matters worse the phone itself has bugs everywhere so disappointing. This is one phone I'm sure I'll not be using for long.
This one deep gan ni, i don't mind if you can send it here to take over from my Redmi 7A.

I am going to be the devil here and say these, unapologetically too.

1. Never buy a product that you're in two minds about. Don't do that to yourself. Because then you'll start looking for the said faults in the product and then later you'll say that the thread mislead you. It's not the first time, won't be the last.

I was reading good reviews on this thread about the Mi 9T yesterday and I laughed. Why? Because I remember that one homo sapien claimed to have the phone, dropped it by himself on floor tiles and the screen began misbehaving. He began a war of calumny and misinformation against the device. Many people who listened to him missed out on a very good device.

2. Poor reviews: May 2019, after the Redmi Note 7 failed Zach's bend test, Indians wrote unprintable things about the phone. I heard even worse from marketers at Pointek when I went to buy it. Did it stop me? No. I had done my research and I knew what I wanted. I bought the device and walked out proudly. Genius43 knows my younger brother. That phone has now spent close to a year with him. It's still working fine and going strong.

3. Hardware: No where, can you find a phone that offers the hardware:price ratio that the Redmi 9t offers. Quote me anywhere. SD662, 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charge, FHD resolution LCD screen, dual speakers, and a 48mp camera.

Check the market, you won't find it.

Does this mean that the phone is perfect? Absolutely not! No phone is. People with Galaxy S21 Ultra dey complain of bugs. iPhone 12 users dey complain of lag and battery drain. Na come small Redmi 9t.

If you understand tech, you'll know that the camera on the Redmi 9t is binned or compressed down to 12mp. That's how binning works. It's not a scam.

If you listen to idiots who are bad photographers then I sorry for you. The same RN9 Pro in my hand that I use for taking pictures, someone said that the camera is a scam too. The same person if you give am digital camera go still snap nonsense.

In summary, since you're in two minds, don't buy the Redmi 9t, go and buy something else. It's your money. I'm sure Transsion has inferior alternatives and Samsung and Oppo have overpriced options as well. Happy Tuesday to you, Happy New month.

This mindset is terrible sha. No offense meant.

I'm glad you are happy with your device. But why would you use your own money that you worked hard for, with your own volition, and go buy a product that you are expecting to fail or disappoint you.

I'll never understand it.

I've seen so many people complain about how they wanted to buy the A52, Redmi Note 10 Pro is bad. They've wasted their money. Yada yada yada.

It's becoming a theme now, even Transsion users whose best phone is not fit to wipe the camera glass on the RN9 Pro, not 10 oh are claiming that the Camon 17 is better.

Na wa sha.

This is your comment...

"...na the same phone we dey use so?? I bought this Redmi expecting to see a reason why I should have bought Samsung. E never gimme that reason for 2 weeks now wey I don dey use am... Except for d terrible screenshot quality sha..."

Read the bolded part. It's your comment, not mine.

Let's turn the statement now. I bought this Camry SE expecting to see a reason why I should have bought a 4matic

Translation, I bought a product expecting to see a reason why I should have bought the other one.

The other part of you statement said for two weeks now. That means for two weeks, you've been looking for a reason, and the only you've seen is the terrible screenshot. What happens when faults show up after two weeks?

Keiyadosh:

If you had enough money, you would have definitely gotten the A52, that's what your comment is saying. There's no wrong mindset abi? It's basic English. Unless your message was lost in translation, which could have been clarified.

I have no reason to quarrel with you. So everything no be fight. It's your comment. A wiseman once said if you don't want people to disagree with you on the internet, then don't post on the internet.

You can imagine. I think I remember when Xiaomi first came to Nigeria, somebody said it, either gptech or grandmufti, said that the coming of xiaomi to Nigeria was the coming of problem. Initially I was like why would you say such a thing. But the more events unfold the more I realise that he was right absolutely Nigerians don't deserve good brands. We should stick with transsion and Samsung and co that will overprice mediocre products for us. That's what we deserve.

If them bring Mi 11 Ultra come Nigeria officially and make it publicly available, people will still complain that it's overhyped.
