for the first time I agree that okoye is crap.

He really lacked focus in that goal. He should have blocked that shot if he was alert.

It pains me that Simon can not finish directly in front of goal.

Rohr jazz on NFF?

Those teams you mentioned how many of them have their football federations owing their coaches and players?

Abeg NFF and Rohr are a match made in heaven.
You should yearn for a better federation first before calling out for a better coach.

When I insult people now dem go talk. You fail to pay a coach for 2 years and you're expecting a decent performance. Omo Rohr and Nff fit themselves and whatever we get, we deserve it. You no pay coaches for 2 years and you're talking

Since it is rohr, I am not surprised

Simon the carpenter: you cannot surprise me also. You showed everyone what you really do on the pitch for a living - football carpentry. The National stadium Abuja currently undergoing a facelift needs your carpentry expertise.

Ekong and awaziem - If only physical beauty won matches
grin

Its alright......Nothing surprises me as a Nigerian anymore

Gerhnort Rohr is already giving excuses already that is not sure the eagles will make it to the quarter finals of the world cup in quatar cos our players are playing in a lesser club in his interview with ESPN. I remember in 2002 Turkey don't have any world class players but they make the semi finals of the world cup in Korea and Japan. Ghana don't have have any world class player in 2010 but they make the quarter finals in South Africa 2010.

This is my biggest resentment towards him. He kills the players morals before big occasions where they can shine their lights brightly. He sets them up for failure. See how my coach turned Chelsea around after Lamps did the same thing to the team. Making them believe they were average. But all that changed when TT came on board. Mindset and psychology is powerful. And the eagles managers are bad psychologists.

Okoye might get better as time goes on, but right now,he isn't any better than Uzoho.. Rohr should stop making him feel too comfortable by giving him too many game time.. He need to sit up...

There is no difference between what the super eagles just played and what Enyimba played against that Egyptian team. If John Noble conceded that goal we would be hearing that no NPFL player should ever touch a football.

That goal was partly Ekong's fault, how can an experienced defender clear a ball to the front of his 18yard box? He just set up an assist for Anguisa

I don't understand your point, it was a great strike by Anguissa and only exceptional goalkeepers eg the likes of Van Der Saar or Peter Schmeichel are capable of making such saves. Uzoho conceded similar type of goal against Kane in 2018 which was even an easier shot to save but no one is saying he should be dropped. Ekong also was partly at fault for the goal too.

Here in America, people live paycheck to paycheck so I cannot fathom the thought of surviving without a 5 month salary in arrears

U people like lying to yourselves. Uzoho clearly made a mistake, the difference is that nobody made excuses for him. Was that a better shot than Mahrez against Akpeyi? But everybody said he should be dropped and we have not seen him since.

That was not a clearance, he blocked the ball from getting to the striker. That was the best he could do in that situation. If he had gone for a clearance and missed that might have been an even easier goal.

Ndidi has to elevate his game because the time of just winning balls and passing it era has gone. He needs to either learn how to shoot from far, passing or initiate attack if he intends on being the best DM

The way our attackers balloon the ball over the bar is just so annoying, and they do this all the time while playing for Nigeria.
If it's a really important game now,and we need goals that's how they will miss something that is supposed to be buried. They should all calm down abeg.

There is a wide difference between a lemon and a lemonade. Promote local players but don't put them in the same conversation with well coached professional players with technical and stable football playing environment.

That means we shouldn't respect any professional in Nigeria because they sure don't have the same training and learning environment as those abroad. Let's just blow up the country and start afresh.

Maybe some of us hate on these guys because they are enjoying their local careers more than us. The hate for the local player seems like a spawn of jealousy.

We had a very decent second half , don't forget the Cameroonian keeper did everything to stop the eagles from scoring , they played as if they were playing WC final while the SE played a friendly . we will get better in the 2nd leg A win or nothing

Regardless he shouldn't be clearing the ball to the front of his 18 yard box, it was amateur defending

He directed the ball backwards, he could have directed it sideways or even for a corner kick
