Sufferness
HEAVEN4444:
800k is very good price for boysquarters in phase 1. most landlords want 1.3 million but if you go to ikate you will see boysquarters for 600 k but its just one tiny room that even 1 bed will not enter so you will just have to sleep on the mattress on the floor and you cant fit any furniture in there.

Sufferness
depends on who you are. if you are a homebody its ' sufferness ' but if you are an extroverted person who enjoys going to bars and clubs and restaurants and gyms and art galleries etc then its a great life, if you view your home as just a crash pad to sleep

lol.... youre a typical bush.

Threadmill that you'll start on the low first. Then gradually increase the speed after youve warmed up and built up your own speed level.

Thought you said 350k was too much when I suggested a cool place on the mainland in lag in your previous post.

Hope the island mosquitos will not drain you this time around.

I wonder whr on the island that he paid 500k... cos my rent here is 3.5m and my former place that was at ajah was 800k

The problem is hardly ever the rent, that is what 98% of agents won’t tell you at the point of enquiry. 600k would get you a BQ that can’t take a 4.5 bed conveniently. If God wan punish you, the BQ would be close to the generator house.

This is where it gets interesting;

Rent - 600k
Legal (10%)- 60k
Agency (10%)- 60k
Caution - 150k
Service charge (exclusive of diesel) - 200k
Diesel deposit - 28k (monthly) 336k

TOTAL= 1,406,000

24hrs light (their usual catchphrase) is not free. They alternate between national grid and generator. Some solar too.

If the electricity is PAYG, e still high. Almost N11 per unit is not a joke.

Ikoyi is out of it. 1.5m won’t even get a BQ there.
You nailed it baby kiss

All this money just to live in a BQ?

Lord have mercy.

Island is shit. The ones who manage to rent decent two bedroom partments often have like four friends living with them. You will see them sharing stuffs and asking friends to excuse them whenever their girlfriends are around, with little to no space for anyone to breath.

I reject that kind life.

Coming from the mainland to the Island everyday can reduce person life span na. Though some do not have any business being there, they just want to belong. There was a day accommodation on the Island trended on Twitter. Someone said some people are still in relationships that ended years ago because of rent. cheesy cheesy
