Meanwhile

*Ndigbo Republic:*

Ndigbo Republic is landlocked, meaning it has no direct access to an ocean or ocean-accessible sea.

Why Is being landlocked an issue?
While a country such as Switzerland has thrived despite its lack of access to the world's oceans, being landlocked has many disadvantages. Some landlocked countries rank among the poorest in the world. Some of the issues of being landlocked include:

1. Lack of access to fishing and oceanic food sources.

2. High transportation and transit costs because of a lack of access to ports and world shipping operations.

3. Geopolitical vulnerabilities from dependence on neighbouring countries for access to world markets and natural resources.

4. Military limitations because of the lack of naval options.

The Ißo nation is landlocked and against the break up of Nigeria. This was why Tony Nnadi created the Lower Niger Congress that included the Ethnic Nationalities spread across the South-East and South-South Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria and wanted them to be a new country called the Lower Niger Congress. It is the same reason Nnamdi Kanu created IPOB and started the advocacy for Biafra that included non-Ißoland to be a new country called Biafra. The best these folks will get is the Ndigbo Republic

Offpoint1:

There are millions of people on Twitter and millions of tweets daily, Twitter can't possibly monitor everyone and every tweet.

Buhari tweets was reported By Nigerians, and Twitter went through and realize it violate their policy, so they deleted.

Kanu tweet was never reported until this saga
how do you know it was never reported? Do you work for twitter?

So if the Nigerian government had not treat their Bleep up, na so the rubbish for continue?.
Shame on twitter, I didn't know that outfit could be this shallow.

Twitter wanted to JFK, General Muhammad Buhari, but the twitter ban, made international organizations to instruct twitter to be fair on it's platform otherwise countries like India & China will go Naija way.
Twitter has given Okoro koboko

It means people just started reporting it. Twitter can’t monitor each and every tweet so they rely on people reporting such tweets that violate their policies

Its to late for over shalaye.

Even local champion Nairaland has bots to automate violation check, how much less twitter.

Stop explaining on behalf of Twitter. FG has done the right thing.

Reporting isn't the only way social media networks detect violation of their rules. Namdi Kanu used some trigger words that should have alerted their bots and based on his older comments and his amount of retweets, there's no way Twitter couldn't have known. Do you know how many accounts they restricted during the US elections?

They only want our downfall and I'm glad that this old man we have responded well.

The only person who wants our downfall is this old man. He is the only one breeding the disunity that you're accusing twitter of capitalising on. And no, the old fool didn't respond well. In fact, if he tweets another nonsense, myself and others will flock to report it and it will be deleted. And no, twitter no send the ban. Their value even rose during the ban while our economy dipped more

Twitter wouldn't have noticed and deleted Buhari's post but for the people who reported the post.

Same thing for Kanu's post, the FG should have reported that earlier.

Twitter has millions of users, how will Jack and his comrades effectively police the app against misuse if offenders aren't reported?

@MBuhari shouldn't take it personally. Even if he does, he shouldn't drag the rest of us into the personal clash he has with the bird app.

Twitter is not omniknowest, just like nairaland, their attention is mostly called to flagged post's.
They deleting the post now means that their attention has been drawn to it by many persons

That's what the FG should have mandated Twitter to do since 2015.... It's called censorship....

Banning Twitter is wrong... Many Nigerians work on Twitter... That's where they get money to feed and survive during this hard times...

I have insulted plenty people hear, but because they didn't report, I didn't receive any suspension. Two months ago, I insulted just one person, he quoted mod and I got suspended. If you know the amount of people that reported that tweet of the president, you'd understand that twitter had no choice. Report Kanu's tweets and it will be deleted asap. And no, FG hasn't done the right thing. In fact, they gave themselves international disgrace. Even the fencist on twitter, Joe Abah, who regularly licks the ass of Buhari agrees that the ban by twitter would paint the nation in a very bad light. Buhari should calm down and stop being a cry baby. Trump's account was suspended while he was President and heavens didn't fall

The last time I checked, a group of idiots started calling for secession months before he was sworn in (in 2015) so we do know who wants disunity.

You are in no position to determine whether the old fool did right or wrong. What we can see here is the results, and the result shows that the Tech Tyrants have learnt their lessons otherwise they wouldn't be deleting tweets from your supleme leeeda.

Lastly, show me any authentic report that shows Twitter's profits because what I know is that the ban only became effective around 11am today.

You getting it all wrong sir; if Nigerians did not report Buharis tweet, they wouldn’t have known (they obviously have millions of user and can’t keep a track of every tweet dished out). Don’t forget, tweeter was not the only social media platform that brought down buharis tweet(Facebook did also)

Go harder PMB!

Yes because Jack sits down all day reading Nigerian tweets.
What stopped you from reporting the tweet all these while?

Most people here don’t know how Twitter works they just talk gibberish
They only take down or delete when it is reported by so many people..Buhari’s tweet was taken down because it was reported but some of you expect Jack to see everything then Lienus Mohammed and the rest of the cows at the top thinks the best thing is ban Twitter.
Very soon they will ban Facebook and WhatsApp
