So I ask for peace and calm, and you respond by threatening violence and war? This is disappointing to say the least, but this gives outside observers into the true nature of the conflict.

Peace loving Fulani are under constant threat of violence and harm, but when Fulani are pushed to the wall they are made to be seen as irrational arbiters of violence. Continue.

Every Fulani is a Nigerian, and has a right to live, work and play in every inch of our nation. The same way those from the SW can be found in the NC (Kwara & Abuja), the NE, and the NW (Kano, Kaduna, etc.).

Don't ask for a war with people looking for peace, because when you get your war it may not favor you. The best thing to do is advise those from the SW to conduct proper investigations before castigating the entire race of Fulani, or even considering reprisals against those residing peacefully in the region without proper investigation through the proper proscribed channels.

We are a nation fo laws and the rule of law must be respected, irrespective of tribe and or religion.

Fulanis can't be a nigerian, they are all immigrants here they are not indigenous to this country, it's either they behave or we will Chase them out of nigeria,we are not hausa that accommodated them first.

Be warned.

A picture can tell 1,000 words and none are true. Let's not be too quick to judge a whole tribe and convict them without a proper chance to defend themselves.

For all we know, these could be communal clashes and in order to turn the SW into a theatre of war, the Fulani are being blamed. People like Sunday Igboho could even be perpetrating these acts in order to bring about anarchy. There are so many unanswered questions that need to be addressed.

Lastly, in actually looking at these "pictures", we see that the quality is low, many of these could have been photoshopped as the picture quality is too poor to actually gauge authenticity. Let's not be fooled, there is no way Fulani will wake up one day and go from cattle herding to murdering. Most likely, this is the result of a communal clash and not Fulani, but let's allow our security forces to conduct proper investigation and allow the courts to prosecute those responsible.

If after a proper investigation, if it was another Yoruba clan, Fulani, Igbo, Tiv or whoever, they should be made to feel the wrath of the law. Until then, let us not tarnish the ethnic image of a whole tribe.

You're mad.. Useless never do well people.

Yoruba is not a barbaric tribe, we don't kill the innocent security agents and steal onions in the name of revenge.

Those who did this should be made to account for their crimes, innocent Hausa/Fulani must not be involved in Yoruba land.

I AM DONE TALKING
Read about fulani madness was stopped in Saki and Sagamu.
I know you are sympathetic to your Muslim brothers of hausa/fulani tribes.
Oyo state is becoming like benue state.
Igangan massacre by fulanis has never happened in yoruba land. It is worrisome.

So in response to my calls for peace and due process, you respond with blanket threats against Fulani?

This is unfortunate, very unfortunate. But, if you want war with the Fulani be sur that there is no monopoly on violence. When the Fulani man starts, he only stops at victory. Let's live in peace, and allow the security agents to do their work. Jungle justice will not bode well for the SW, as anyone can behave as if they are in the jungle. Let's be civilized as we both have a long history of civilization.

Lastly, if Fulani are the monsters you say they are, why are there no court cases where the Fulani are the defendant(s)? This is evidence that many of thee crimes are not committed by Fulani, but are local communal clashes but blamed on Fulani.

Let's all respect ourselves.

What response for call of peace and due process are you talking about for heaven's sake? Do you take the southerners for fools? Oga this your Taquiyaa is outdated and moribund to say the least. Upgrade yourself and try another format at least to make you look more convincing. Don't be a yesteryears man. Your logic is flawed

Things are reaching a tipping point.

These retaliations are most likely tied to Sunday Igboho and his recent outbursts. It appears that he is set on trying to turn the SW into the new NE by turning the SW into a war zone. The sooner the SW turns their back on this warlord, and turn him over to the courts of Nigeria, the better.

We have people like Igboho running around making unguarded statements and stoking the flames of war, and then when war comes people like him will flee abroad leaving his supporters in a trail of tears and sorrow. Sunday Igboho needs to be called to order and stop with his threats of war, because he is too young to even know what he is calling for.

A word is enough for the wise. Do not push the goat to the wall, leave the Fulani in the bush alone as no one has the monopoly on violence.

Sunday Igboho did not start this. In fact, the killings started in the middle belt and gradually moved southwards.
What do you suggest that people do when Fulanis are carrying out all these unprovoked attacks on Nigerians?
I call it unprovoked because I don't know how a farmer in Ondo, Oyo or anywhere in the SW could have provoked an attack on someone who came to ravage his farm.

The Fulanis are taking up a huge loan that'll be repaid in full soon. My concern is only the Hausas that might be caught in the cross fire.

Very well said. In as much as the southeast and southwest are not working in alliance to accomplish their individual goals of independence, it may continue to elude them. I may not be friends with you but if we have a common foe, then it becomes necessary to work together to eliminate that threat.

Yorubas and Igbos ought to unite to fight our common enemy Fulani.

People call this clash, I call it genocide, subjugation and wickedness. Nobody should support this evil. This is like what happened in benue some days ago where these Fulani herdsmen went and raped 2 year olds, Inserted machetes in their private parts, killed men and women and disfigured others.

How many times have we heard Buhari, the grand patron of Miyetti Allah condemn these attacks , how many times have they been arrested ?

You never see anything. If I upload the pictures of that events you will run away from nairaland.
