You see these words "my ex is not my enemy " has destroyed so many marriage and relationship.
Exes are biggest threat to every relationship and marriage, yes they are not your enemy but they are something one needs to avoid then if you two meets by chance then you can greet ,gist and walk away.

Many women with such mentality "my ex is not my enemy "therefore I want to go to his place and invite him to my wedding, from there" can I get a last hug.

That was how they ended up in bed, from ordinary hug it turned to kissing, this is how many married woman got pregnant for their exes.
Many will be saying that they are matured spiritually to handle such, but forgot what the Bible said in 1 Corinthians 10:12 ...

Men on the other hand usually have the same mentality too, she is just a friend this and that...they forgot most times we fall in love with someone you didn't intend falling in love with by simply spending time with them, it may start as casual friends ,colleague e.t. c by spending time together you start seeing the beautiful qualities of the person that you don't know, from there intimate feeling can start building up.

When you are in a relationship/marriage you should respect your spouse feelings, and stop all this "we are just friends.
Yes that you are married or in a relationship doesn't mean you aren't allowed to make friends but know your limits..

I've not heard from her since 2016 that she left for Canada. After the text she sent me on Facebook that she had arrived the Vancouver airport, we've not had any form of communication till today. I went to drop her at the MMIA in Lagos and waited till she was about to fly.
We didn't have any form of misunderstanding before she left.

One so-called married woman went to see an ex in a hotel when he invited her. She claimed nothing happened. Her marriage is history for other reasons that had to do with another ex that visited her when her husband went to work.

I had a girl who after we stopped dating wanted friendship which I wasn't comfortable with. I was still expected to contribute to her upkeep, birthday and family events. The day I decided it was enough was when I was called to send a gift. I told her it was disrespectful to her current guy. She felt insulted. We have not spoken nor seen for 16 years now.

I also have another ex who I wanted to keep around because she dey give head wey dey burst ogor. So even if many claim nothing happens with exes, it's okay. You can lie to us. But telling a lie to yourself means you don't have self confidence nor esteem.

Yhh. That was probably her intention, but it didn't remove anything from me cos it was out of the true love I had for her I did the sponsoring. I have been to about 25 counties in the world cos my job takes me to so many countries. So what upgrade would she want again?? That's why I said reason(s) for her action still baffles me till today.
NB: She never lacked anything.

Well to be candid it depends on the reasons behind the break up....

I have an ex that am still keeping in touch with because we re not in same town again moreover she is married with 4 kids and adultery is a Big NO for me......

If 95% of girls re like her relationship will not be a do or die affair.....

As at 2018 she spoke sense into my babe that was too jealous of seeing girls around me and she changed for good.....

Bottom line is, if you must date, date an understanding partner and if you must break up, do it peacefully (e get why).. Nobody knows where we might meet tommorow...
