Quitasystem, simplymumu, superstar will go into a state of meltdown soon.

One thing you guys forget is everything has time and season, which is why the every rot must be uprooted and consumed especially after expiration.

The internet never forgets and as it never forgets, people like you would give birth to new breed of individuals that will make sure equal reward is enforced.

All I can say enjoy it as it last for now.

Hahahaha. Cowards. Dem no born dem well nah. What a backward-thinking government. Eleriibu dee dee. Where are those myopic online warriors backing these dingbats ? It's baffling to note that Nigeria had become such a shallow-thinking entity under this inept government. Will they now compensate those who had lost millions of dollars since the ban of twitter took effect? Same people were shouting that there was no dollar, that people in the diaspora should please remit money home to alleviate the pressure witnessed in the forex market as a result of scarcity of USD. Those defending this government need to have their brains checked. Something must be wrong somewhere.

You have failed to provide that millions of jobs for our teeming youths as promised them in 2015, yet those who had decided to hustle legitimately by taking their products and services to twitter had been driven out of jobs by the ban. The Umoren of a girl who was raped to death had her killer arrested via the help of the social media. The military who gather intelligence in the restive regions use twitter to reach to others... nearly all the embassies and diplomatic missions are on twitter, same with multinationals and NGOs...those who must have lost a lot since the ban took effect. Nigeria government will always cite bad examples for their actions, instead of citing places or countries where twitter had paid off. shame!

In addition to that, Twitter should tender an unreserved apology to the president with a promise to always delete tweets that compromise the sovereignity and territorial integrity of Nigeria.

The hunch-back, ashewo-fuckin', demented, IPOBic albino based in the U.K should also be permanently banned from Twitter.

Without doing the aforementioned, the ban remains.

Lol when a cow brain talks we will always know, he shouldn't make that Genocide comment at first, aboki ass licker, African man would always be one, no sense of reasoning.. MNK always at the top..Someone Nigeria as a country couldn't jail within the affluence of the constitution, they rather invaded his home to murder him but he was too wise to escape, bro noting in this world would stop the actualization of BIAFRA

* Respect, people say, is reciprocal, and those who make the laws should not flout/break the laws themselves! Meanwhile, the Presidential Aides and many of the Executives have been known to use more hate speech on the citizens, whose tax monies are used to pay their salaries. What do we make of this? It's also said that, when the mother cow chews the chord, the baby cow (calf) watches the mother's mouth. Can we please learn some lessons from the current drama?

They should continue the ban till 2023 so Tinubu or Atiku's (because Nairalanders are stupid) government can claim the glory of bringing the service back.

You seem confused. Twitter doesn’t have to be subordinate to your laws. In the grand scheme of things, you need them, not the other way around.

France Holocaust denial law isn’t an abrogation of free speech, it is to prevent giving a platform to sympathizers of one of the worlds most heinous crimes. The same laws exist in Germany and Israel.

Blocking anti-gay speech isn’t a loss of free speech, it is meant to protect people from discrimination. It’s the same reason Twitter also blocks people from calling you a monkey and the “N” word.
If they do not want to be subordinate they can get out
Why do we need them? What is it that Twitter offers that cannot be got elsewhere

Your opinion of Holocaust Denial is YOUR OPINION

WHY IS THERE NO SLAVERY DENIAL LAW??
The principles of Free Speech are clear The fact that they have similar laws in Germany and Israel does not mean it is not a breach of free speech

The point is across the globe one man's free speech is another's blasphemy
Another's Holocaust Denial is another's free speech

Free speech is not an a la carte menu judged from French German or Israeli perspective

A colonized mind would fail to see the contradiction in stopping so called Holocaust Denial but permitting Charlie Hebdo to insult Islam
Why does French law not seek to protect Muslims from discrimination but does so for Gays?

I am not a Muslim and will never be but the facts are clear countries pick and choose their own RED LINES on Free speech and these RED LINES are not universal

All your rationalization about Oyibo actions just reveal colonization

The question is

is there a set of principles defining Free speech that is universally agreed?

If NO we cannot say one nation's cultural understanding of Free speech is superior to another's

IPOB worldwide is really suffering now that twitter operations are banned in Nigeria. How will IPOB millions worldwide tweet anything? Even MNK cannot tweet anymore. Even worse, no one can read their tweets anymore. IPOB propaganda will now stand with no counter! A whole country has unilaterally disarmed itself on a propaganda platform! God bless our great genius Baba!! Petulant and pathetic morons. Lunatics, everywhere.

Buhari just filled his cabinet and government with Morons.

No one, I mean no one can tell him his genocidal tweet was evil and in developed societies, no one will praise him.

Then he moved from making a genocidal tweet to trampling on the rights of Nigerians to free speech.

Then the Foreign Minister is giving conditions to lift ban.

Like seriously? Are these guys this confused? These are the people who are ruling Nigeria, controlling resources and we wonder why things are getting bad at an alarming rate in this country.

The Twitter scenario is the perfect analogy of how terrible Nigerian rulers are.
