it is league games that brings out the beauty of this place or when there's a serious competition or qualifiers going on.

Rohr have made questionable calls in recent times and have made today's game disinteresting to many.

Here will come alive again on resumption of league matches

I tell you, today's game is of no interest to me as soon as I saw the starting XI... We saw Iheanacho, Onuachu, Ndidi the last time; why not try Olayinka, Moffi and Abraham this time?

Las Las, he go con bring dem for 88th minute to come perform magic....

Shior!!

Cameroon scored, but offside
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by PDPGuy: 4:53pm On Jun 08, 2021
If not for that offside call, Okoye would have registered another howler…

For real though, I don’t think Gernot Rohr is the right man for this team at all. The lads have largely been uncoordinated in their approach to this game.

It’s now crystal clear that the SE, under Rohr, that the individual brilliance of the players + the average to poor form of the likes of Algeria and Cameroon at the 2018 WC qualifiers were the factors that helped the SE to score so many goals against those teams.

Considering the number of goals these guys have in Europe, their lack of attacking threat is ludicrous. Second half, yank out Musa, put in Iwuala. We need guys who can drive at Cameroon's defense, and this first half, only Simon came close.

Second half, we want to see the new players he invited. The man is so afraid of losing that he keeps on with the same players he thinks will win, but we still end up losing. Why don't we try out the players we invited and see what they can do? You can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results.

Ndidi is the only truly world class player in the Super Eagles. the rest are either brilliant, average or below average.

Friendlies are meant to take risks and try out players. But this man has been using same players for decades.

They're not average. A good coach squeezes milk out of "promising" players and bring out the best in them, as a team.

Why Iwuala instead of Olayinka? Iwuala, Collins, and Musa are not SE materials.
