hello Fam

Currently applying for kids to join in the uk. part of the documents required is consent letter signed by both parents stating some thing amongst which is plans for accommodation. still in a shared apartment but plan to move before they arrive however no concrete address yet.
Do we state in the letter that we intend to move to a bigger place soon or wait till we get the place then apply? suggestions welcome.

You don't need to go as far as mentioning your plan to move to a bigger apartment in the consent letter. You also do not need to state you currently stay in a shared apartment. Just put the address you are living currently. I am not sure anyone will come and confirm if accomodation status. I applied for visa for my wife and 3 kids last month and they all got it within 9 workings days (standard application) while still staying in a shared apartment. I just started looking for a bigger apartment. I am on a tier 2 visa.

Hello Gurus in the house, I cannot explain enough how much this forum is helpful in applying the right way & getting visas, thanks to you all.

I have a question though. I have travelled to the schengen countries in past but have had two refusal from UK (Family visit) based on insufficient fund and unknown origin of deposits & in excess of declared amount.

And after learning the tricks from this forum I began arranging my bank account records accordingly i.e paying from my company's account to my personal account. All of a sudden scammers withdraw almost 1.5 from my zenith bank account according to the bank with up to 17 different transactions the same day but luckily I got 16 transactions reversed except the remaining last one which is worth 193k.

My question though goes thus: how best can I convince and explain in my next application in 3 months time that those transactions were not initiated by me,that it was an error from within the bank?

Thank you.

Option 1.
explain how you have explained it here with proofs. If this happened i am sure you filled forms at the bank eg chargeback forms, fraud forms etc which u can use to substantiate your claims. U have to attach evidence of all this.. however is it worth complicating the app with 2 refusals already on ur back from uk?

Option 2. Wait it out till this saga of scammers clears from the bank statement u want to submit.

Pls @NiksO21 did you submit receipt for debit and credit transaction on your husband company account.

Hi Everyone,

Been a silent reader for years, just wanted to share my husbands visa process and timeline.
My husband was the only one in our family that needs a visa because myself and our daughter are British Citizens. He had a visa that expired last June that he only used once because of covid. For that application we stated he was going for a course that was sponsored by a company but that he would also be visiting my mum who lives in London. (Didn’t even end up doing the course)

We decided this year to apply for a new one with the sole intention to visit my mum.

Submission: 20th May 2021
Biometrics: 25th May 2021
Collection Email and Text: 7th June 2021

We picked up the passport today with the visa.

We submitted:
CAC certificate
Company Account Statement (6 Months)
Invoices (of the higher payments)
Marriage Certificate
Daughters Birth Certificate
Wife’s British Passport Data Page
Daughters British Passport Data Page
Flight itinerary
Invitation from My mum
Covid Vaccination
Mums Data Page
Mums Gas Bill (x2)
Tenancy Agreement
Tenancy Receipt of Payment
Wife’s Letter from Work stating what she does and how much she earns

I just wanted to also say that my daughter and I being British isn’t automatic. 4 years ago he also got a refusal. @giselle you’re definitely right about there not being a set way to submit company accounts. My husband submitted only his company account and pays himself no salary, he literally spends money as he needs to.

Opening Balance: 250k
Closing balance: 2.1m

Thank you everyone for letting me know what to add to his application [/quote]

Thanks both makes sense ,I might be tempted to go with option 1 cos it clearly shows in the returned transaction that it is a reversal however the bank is reluctant to give the complaints forms that I filled

Please seniors I need a good advise.
I am a master student in China, and my wife and son are in Nigeria.
I have my uncle and his family in the UK and they are all citizens.

I want my wife and son to go and stay with them in the UK pending the time I find get admission for my PhD or job.

My uncle was the one that sponsored my back and he is the one acting as a father to me since I got none.

The question is; which visa can I secure for my wife and kid? The truth is that they'll spend at least one year there because I still have one year left for my program.

Feeding and accommodation would be provided by my uncle. I just want to know a legit and lawful way of staying for a longer time.

Please help a brother.
Thanks

I do not pay myself any salary, I do have a business account but I barely run it as almost everyone still pays into my personal accounts.
I stated that I earn 700,000 monthly based on the transactions in my bank statement.
In always do a self/business introduction letter whenever I am applying for a visa, it is advisable to always do this.
I stated that I would be spending 700k for the trip because I have a family that would accommodate and feed me in the UK, my monthly expenses is 130k so my disposable income is 570k

No I do not pay myself a salary but I explained as much as I could in my letter and I also included invoices, WhatsApp chats and also receipts from my previous trips to the UK and US to show that I shop a lot for my fashion stores.
I included my business and personal bank account statements

Self/Business introduction letter with my business letter head
letters from a company and their subsidiary that I am a contractor with them
My CAC document and FIRs document
My Work ID as the GM
my shop rent receipt from over the years till now
My house rent receipt, utility and agreement (I also included my old house rent receipt which is nit the same address)
I supply different things including furniture so I printed out invoices and also WhatsApp chats when invoices where not given
I sell hairs so I included the invoices from the vendors and I printed bank transaction receipts which I attached to the invoices
I sell fashion items and I shop for some of them abroad so I included lots of receipts from stores both in the US and the UK
There were some lump sums in my account and I made sure to explain them in my letter.

Just try to be detailed and truthful. When I applied in December 2018, I didn't have a business account and I explained that in my letter, I used the same documents up there and I got it.
Now I have a business account but I still do not run it properly as my customers are still used to my personal account and I made sure to explain that because I do not pay myself a salary.
Lastly I try to reference every transfer I make and I ask my customers to do the same, I feel it helps

So how did the agent know your visa was refused if there isn't any rejection letter? They have been cases where a Visa was approved but the Visa sticker wasn't inserted into the passport.

How do you even know a Visa was even applied for?

A few passports have come on the system as fact. Please verify is yours is original as you gave him and he hasn’t swapped it for money as that is a thing now.

Every application is considered on its own merit that’s why two people submit the exact documents and one gets rejected and the other approved.
When kids are involved the address is ALWAYS investigated doesn’t matter whether it is shared, mortgage or rented and weighed as against factors like what the parents do for a living ie will money come in monthly and the funding proof presented that they have to take care of these kids and the circumstances surrounding their travel.
