How the rating is calculated

The liveability score is reached through category weights, which are divided equally into relevant subcategories to ensure that the score covers as many indicators as possible.

Indicators are scored as acceptable, tolerable, uncomfortable, undesirable or intolerable. These are then weighted to produce a rating, where 100 indicates that liveability in a city is ideal and 1 means that it is intolerable.

For qualitative variables, an “EIU rating” is awarded based on the judgment of in-house expert geography analysts and a field correspondent based in each city. For quantitative variables, a rating is calculated based on the relative performance of a location using external data.

If you don't appear on tv, forget this country. Motivational songs cannot help you; it's still a hustle from artistes.

What's a livable city with littered graduates?

Well, hire me for assignment, thesis, and dissertation writing. Hit my profile.

Lagos is a glorified slum. The way Lagosians brag about their inhuman sufferings is befoddling. How will you sit in traffic holdup for 4 hours and be proud of it

Okay...

Years ago I stepped into Lagos. My Lord, I couldn't tame the disappointment that struck me like an impact from a nuke. Sat in the car looking at what I didn't envision.

For a thing I sometimes prefer keeping certain things to myself, because when I talked to a few people about how a city should be, they think I was playing the tribalism card.

The ten liveable cities listed are the best amongst the best, and the least liveable cities are the worst amongst the worst.

What do you expect when Abokkiiis and Ibos are practically eevverywhere leaving their under developed region

What do you expect when you surreptitiously arrogate all infrastructure and projects to one corner of the country, spread the joy una no gree, today Lagos looks like and smells like a pigsty, no amount of forming and faking in Lekki and V.I. can claim otherwise.

Sharp guys are relocating gradually back to Biafraland, when we exit the Zoo,we can kick off real development.

Nigeria is a slum, no thanks to the criminals we call leaders who our youths kill each other to defend. I see government coming up in this country, I see liberation and freedom from the clutches of the North.

This I have seen.

But they're right. It's stressful living here. With all the money generated in taxes , the rate of development is not commensurate. Its like at the speed of a snail. Such is expected when you have a thug turned leader who doesn't know anything else than breed thugs and acquire private jets.

I've been to virtually all the best livable cities mentioned , except Auckland, Melbourne and Brisbane. No single person owns a private jet in Geneve. The cities of Veyvey, Montreal, Lusan, etc in Switzerland are far better than our Lagos. We can achieve these statuses too provided we can produce a leader who could block all the channels through which Jagaban and his cohorts pilfer our resources

If na only petty crime I agree, but in terms of terrorism and loss of lives na wa o.

If u take Lagos from Nigeria then Nigeria ceases to exist...

Well just a quick reminder;
#Do u know After the endSars protest, Sars ended and police harassment of yung guys reduced drastically
#Do u also noticed after the protest there have been less report of yung guys hitting FP that die due to police extortion n extra judicial killings??

Just incase anyone come to tell u Endsars protest achieved nothing, u can decide for urself if it's true or not. Well another Nationwide protest more massive than Endsars is coming June 12? And if you are comfortable n feel very secure in Nigeria, living very fine of ur dreams stay at home BUT if you're tired like me together let's hit the street on June 12 and tell Buhari #We are tired

Lagos is basically too congested and stressful. I wonder what the life expectancy will be for someone waking up and driving to work and back daily in Lagos year in year out.

But come to think of it, how can Lagos score anything good? Everything that made Nigeria bad starts from Lagos. The man in charge for 22years now want to be president.

It's well.
