Married men and women, I would like to sample opinions as I am planning my wedding even though I am not the type who believe in spending loosely because of wedding. We all know this economy is dwindling and lot of things are going up in terms of prices. If you are given another chance, would you still go ahead and spend as much as you did in your previous wedding ceremony? |

What I spent pains me, but the irony is that I may even spend higher if given another chance. 1 Like |

If given another chance, i would opt for a very low key wedding that will only bring few family members together. Not everyone that come around to felicitate with you love, some only came to plant evil seed that will germinate later in your marital life. 1 Like |

Klass99: I spent over a million in just church wedding, I felt it was extravant, yet it didn't look posh to me. If I have another opportunity I would love to make it posh!!! We live this life once, if you have the chance and can afford it, enjoy it very well. 6 Likes |

After several years of wedding, experiences and the economy, it's absolutely normal to feel you should have spent less amount on an event or something. For instance, when you buy a gadget, after several years of usage you may feel you could have brought a better or bigger one. You may also feel you could have just paid less. But you should know, the joy you felt at the moment of acquiring that property can not be taken away from you. And you cannot return the good feeling /happiness back to where it came from. No amount spent on a wedding is too little and no amount is too much just spend within your limit. After the wedding, everybody goes home and it will remain you, your pocket and your wife 8 Likes 1 Share |

Nah because you no get money that's why people reason low budget wedding.... No that I'm over rich, but I didn't spend less than 3million on my wedding, both traditional and white.... My introduction, I spent more than 500k on it... Not that we Dangote, but doing something and be proud of yourself worth it.... Forget the fact that some people are there to only eat your food and go, but if you have the means do what makes you happy... I usually say I can't spend more on my wedding, but that was when I I never had a good and supportive woman.... The source of our wedding came from both me and my wife (very supportive), she didn't even put any burden on me to buy this for her... We had an account that both of us saved our wedding money inside. 6 Likes |

Ishilove: Same reason I didn't attend a former colleague's wedding last month, she said asoebi was 8k initially, later she said that one is too 'local' and it's just 'regular abi normal' guests that she has another one for her closest friend for 25k (for 5 yards) . Before I'd pay tailor, buy matching clutch and shoe ,pay for make up and gele, pay uber to and fro Island, buy gifts and spray her money too , everything will be more than 50/60k. I told her I wouldn't be around and sent her 10k. She's been ignoring my messages on Whatsapp since then ,I go soon block her sef. |

Yes I would spend as much as we did, simply because we didn't spend too much, it was exactly our budget. We all decided it was going to be low key for reasons best known to us. Spent money on photography ,and food we didn't have a too expensive deco, had about 60people in attendance though we budgeted 40. No matter how small your wedding is ensure your photography is top notch, Food and photography/ video very important 1 Like |

Ishilove: Shuo! You bad o. I wonder why people spend so much on a one-day event. God helping me I won't do pass myself - won't even relate with a lady that will make me to - if God says the brother will marry. I'd rather spend more on wedding anniversaries. I don't even like involving too many people in what I do. 1 Like |
