Was Biafra an Igbo only affair? What about the Efiks or other tribes that were also apart of Biafra? You are supplanting their contribution as if they didn't share your cause. The only tribe in Africa to fight a war is clearly false as there are multiple examples all over Africa like the Tigrays of East Africa and the Tuaregs of Mali who fought modern warfare.

Actually Yorubas and other groups like the Kanuris and Jukuns have fought the Fulani Jihadists and have won multiple battles against the Fulanis prior to the creation of Nigeria.

Igbos defend themselves all over Africa, but how do they become the ONLY tribe that defend themselves in Nigeria and all those countries?

While it is correct to say Biafra ought not to be an Igbo affair but Yes in reality Biafra was indeed an Igbo affairs the other ethnic groups in Biafra played a role in sabotaging the war and till this days tribes like Ijaws, Uhrobo's, Isoko's and non Igbo groups still tell stories of how they sabotage the war. Yes in wars you have allies and indeed in Akwa-cross Igbo's found one that does not make it a non Igbo war even till today only the Igbo's still pay the price of the war because it was an Igbo affair. Don't try to be smart by half.

As for other African tribes fighting wars in Africa my emphasis was on modern day warfare that witnessed the most sophisticated war equipments and military hardware the world have ever seen from world powers in a full-scale war that lasted years not like overthrowing a government, managing conflict, civil disobedience, internal conflict or internal civil war with no major players just military and rebels. Please note the Biafran civil war is the only war that have witnessed the most sophisticated military equipment and hardware in Africa and Asia from world powers till date.

This is not a comparison between Igbo's and any tribe least of all Yorubas when we talk of bravery Igbos should not be compared with any. If you want to put Yoruba and Fulani in the same sentence then be true to yourself and Always remember that Fulani captured the seat of yoruba empire hence they still control Illorin and retain it as spoils of war. Remind me what Yoruba have to show their defeat of Fulanis. Even till today yorubas are fleeing in droves to neighbouring countries for safety and fear of Fulani, a first in Nigeria.

It is not in doubt that the Jews were also selected for victimisation at a point in history, heck even christ was crucified instead of a thief, it is also worthy to note that people fear what they don't understand, many can't understand how an Igbo man feels more at home than a land owner hence the jealousy and hatred, so yes Igbo's constantly have to defend themselves not because of anything else, Simply envy, jealousy and hatred for the Igbo mans unexplainable success.

Benin that Biafra Troup defeated in less Han 24 hours on their way to Ore

The 13th Battalion was given the job of defending the Biafran north flank while also cutting off Nigerian supplies going to Nsukka. A Nigerian Army unit was pursued by Biafran soldiers to the Siluko River where the two sides exchanged fire, before the Nigerians managed to escape under the cover of darkness. Unbeknownst to General Banjo a unit of Biafran soldiers under Midwestern Lt. Col. Ochei attacked the government residence of Mid-Western Region governor David Ejoor in Benin on the orders of President Odumegwu Ojukwu to capture Ejoor dead or alive. Fortunately for Ejoor, Quartermaster Lt. Col. Ogbemudia changed the guard detail at the government house the night prior, replacing troops that were in on the plot to hand over Ejoor. His guards resisted the attacking Biafrans which gave Ejoor enough time to escape and flee to Lagos. Within 12 hours of the initial invasion the Biafran Army had control over the entire Mid-Western Region, most of it taken without a fight.

Hahaha. You just read my mind. They kept saying our being more educated and developed was because lagos was a former state capital. Whereas before Lagos, capital was once in the south-south, calabar to be precise. The relics of Lugard and Flora Shaw are still there till today. From there to Lokoja and later Zungeru( northern colonial HQ) before Lagos. All these places never experienced development in spite of the federal presence. Amazingly, they all had waterways too, except Zungeru. Finally, was moved to Abuja...yet all these regions aren't as economically viable as Yorubaland. Academically, we've got no match.

They always say ibos in lagos made it so developed as it is, as if there are no ibos in calabar, lokoja, Abuja, zungeru and other parts of Nigeria too. In kano alone, they're in millions, not to talk of kaduna.

We have the zeal and passion for progress even up to the national level. Most of the federal government ideas today were our initiatives. Yoruba anyday!
the question u need to ask yourself is how long did the capital last in Calabar and how long did it last in Lagos? Secondly which of them became a capital first? Don't forget the last capital of Nigeria was in Lagos before Abuja, hence it form of development can not be compare to that of Calabar that took the stride of ancient development, Time matters allot in development. Ibb took a way the capital from Lagos to Abuja therefore it form of development is close to the 20th and 21th century unlike that of Calabar.
