Thank you, continue drinking and continue trekking from one geographical area to another in the name of grazing even when the world has moved to modern ranching.

Have the world not moved into e commerce and shopping mals, why do you guys hawk and shout from one place to another?

Òmò ófó, better than your lazy elders who recruit children and move them about, disturbing the whole neighbourhood while shouting "Bambi Allah" when begging for alms in this 21st century.

That protest was a joke

Wetin Be their reason.... all Na Yoruba shalaye..

I beg to disagree.

The protest was not a joke.

What most protests under the present regime suffers from is lack of a mobiliser.

The PDP do not have anyone who is ready to bankroll protests because they themselves are very comfortable with what they are getting from the centre, especially the bigwigs among them. It's more like a convergence of the political elites now. Those in APC and PDP are now friends in different attires. Those who suffer for it are the masses.

I still don't understand APC's aversion to protests.
Same protests they organised and rode on to get to power.
Talk about the executioner afraid of a sword raised above his head.
If your business was burnt down or looted during the Endsars protest, you'll understand better.

If Endsars jail break prisoners hold your city under seige of crime and violence, you'll understand better.

APC play by the rules better. When they led the protest in 2012, they left the streets immediately FG released the millitary.

We all know how the sponsored Endsars protest ended with near burning down of the country.

Endsars is not the first protest that was truncated by APC.

There was that of Tuface. It's even during APC tenure we see thugs attacking protesters.

Maybe if APC thugs were not being allowed to hijack protests, Endsars will not end in violence as it did

APC thugs burnt down APC states, right? Doesn't sound logical.

I visited the Alausa protest ground to see thugs smoking weed, with the protesters.

When the protesters got into agreement with thugs, what did you think the thugs would do??

Same thugs that came in BRT buses right? The guys that invaded the Oba's palace in Lagos are also Endsars protesters abi?

When Lagos was breeding thugs and APC was using them to win elections, you lots never knew thugs can't maintain loyalty abi

They follow where their stomachs lead them and when they saw that they couldn't beat the protesters, they decided to join them.

Why wasn't Abuja burned down? Why was it Lagos that suffered the most? It was a case of thugs seeing a breakdown in law and order and taking advantage. It had nothing to do with Endsars. Blame politicians who breed thugs

The BRT was hijacked. Scared commuters were inside.
End Sars provided the thugs the perfect opportunity to unleash their mayhem.

End Sars ptotesters can block roads to deny people their right to free movement and defy the government but thugs love to do that too.......and more.

Protesters and thugs were on the same page.

You seem to have a problem with protesters and thugs being on the same page but no problem with thugs and politicians being on the same page.

That's because you are in love with the present crop of politicians in power.

If not you will advocate for riding Lagos of thugs not claiming protesters and thugs are on the same page. A society that breeds thugs is one that is setting itself up for anarchy. Those thugs daily rob, maim and harass people and there's a video of one who attempted to disrupt the last election.

Thugs are a daily reality of Lagos. It was not the protests that brought them out. Those thugs were also at Ojota in 2012 drinking and smoking while the fuel subsidy was going on. The difference then was their paymasters were around to meet their every need which ordinary protesters may not be able to cater to everyday

Protesters and thug combination almost burned down the whole country in a day........ something Politicians and thug combination hasn't been able do in decades.

The protesters/thug combination burnt cities and businesses so badly, it triggered a jump in inflation and insecurity.

The protesters are just as dangerous as the politicians but a whole lot more destructive.........for chrissake, human flesh eating miscreants were on the same page with the protesters!!!!

The fuel subsidy protest ended because the protesters left the streets immediately FG released the millitary to confront them.

I know because i was 1 of them.

These new protesters let the "coconut head" label get to their heads and faced the millitary.....which led to the breakdown of law and order.

Faced the military where and how? The fuel subsidy protest ended because the NLC that called it also called it off. Or do you mean thugs listened to the NLC?

Can you hear yourself defending the combination of politicians and thugs. Seems you're a slave to aesthetics. You think burning police stations and buses is worse than snatching ballot boxes and rigging elections because the latter does not lead to burning down of anything. But what of the democratic process that has been burned? What of the will of the people that has been immolated? How do you think the thugs derived the feeling of invincibility if not the fact that they've seen how many times the politicians use them to trample on the masses and nothing happens?

Politicians and thugs have looted your tax for decades. They are the reason that brother you have who has been at home for ten years unemployed after finishing school is like that. They are the reason you run a generator economy.

Lol. Are you kidding or you're serious? I see the poo from Buhari's ass has leaked to your brain and is making you think like him. He blamed low FDI on misbehaving youths and you also blame inflation on protesters. But I'm sure you supported the border closure. I'm sure you support the parallel forex market we've been running since 2016. I'm sure you support the so-called fuel subsidy removal.

Nigeria has been experiencing a jump in inflationary trends since 2016 but it's Endsars that happened for two weeks in 2020 that caused it. I guess Endsars has been affecting the economy before it actually happened. This is unbelievable that a youth can think like this.

You even blame Endsars for insecurity. I guess Shekau was also an Endsars protester. Or the bandits where the Endsars protesters in the north. I'm actually shocked at your level of naked propaganda. Let me help you. Endsars caused covid 1-9

Basically, the protest failed because the protesters had no coherent programme.

I recall the Arab spring protests in Egypt, and how the protesters brought down Mubarak..and how many of us hoped for a new secular order in Egypt...

Only for the politicians, and later the Army to take over...and now Egypt is back to square one. By popular approval!

Protests don't work in Africa. The protesters are always from the isolated educated elite. Not from the masses or from the political class.

The bold was most saddening.
How can they deny people their freedom of movement while claiming right to protest?
Drivers that weren't looking friendly were harassed and sometimes beaten with none of
the genuine protesters raising an objection.

It is not enough to go on Twitter and Nairaland and be, shouting Tinubu cannot be President, then your fellow angry Never-Do-Wells, would support you with retweets and likes, and you would think your opinion matters or you succeeded in changing people minds... grin grin You be mumu...

If APC chooses Tinubu Today, he is already your President...The only thing you can do is to join ESN, Igboho or Boko Haram as recruits... Nigeria will still prevail...
