Go to ikoyi to pick your passport....It should be ready by now. I captured March 26th and i collected last week.

Was your name published on the list that was uploaded on NIS site?? Coz my name wasn’t there

He paid 15k through Remita for NIN DOB correction but since last year November the corrected DOB is yet to drop on Immigration portal. Please what can be done to make the DOB drop on immigration portal?

N.B He used same NIN slip to open bank account in April and the corrected DOB reflected at the bank

I think the best alternative in this case is to go to passport office and see the people in the capturing room they are in the best position to offer advice and help. Yet he should be smart about it and not get milk by them.

Finally collected today @ Ibadan.
Strictly DIY
Captured on 28th January
Collected on 15th June.
Total Spent≈ 19000 (Photocopies and Transport)

Overall, if you're not in a hurry, you can use Ibadan for DIY.

My name was not on the list. Mine was printed June 4th. The list was last updated Jun 1st.

Is it that u were not allowed access in or what. I have applied online and paid the admin charges . I am only going to submit the hard copies. Pls enlighten me . I can't fly from lagos to Abuja to be treated this way

It happens, the NIN officials are supposed to upload it to the immigration portal. I'll advise you go back to the NIN office and make a complaint; explain that the effected change hasn't reflected on the immigration portal.

I now have the opportunity to speak with someone that told me the truth there, I will need to come back again, honestly speaking things there is a matter of knowing someone ....i swell...even though we know about diy, DIY doesn't work all the time.. especially if you come from Lagos or south west which is quite far....you will spend more than you can expect when they try to delay you and make you come and go everytime....but my experience today is quite hot.....you need someone that is reliable that is the koko

I just got my attestation of birth from npc. What are the documents required for capture for a first timer at the Ikoyi immigration office? And what day of the week would be hitch free to go for the capture? Thanks

bro did you do the change of name registration yourself cause an official here in Lagos ask me to bring 150k for it and I honestly don’t have that kind of money.

what state are you applying from? If u are applyin in lagos, abuja,ph and ogun u must use NIN
if the other states, then nin is not compulsory

so are you saying I can do renewal at other states if we having issues with name

If only third name....it's still minor issue...but point of advice don't pay administrative fee yet until you get there.
And also try to budget a few days. Here it is hell....no connection, won't be given preferential treatment more so ..u will keep on coming because the people that suppose to sign won't.
I was referred to data processing office, they don't let me in...the guy at the gate say one proverb...which means u need someone to get it done asap. So have some money in your pocket Wella when going or you put everything in the hand of God
