I remember while serving in the North,the student attacked one of the corps member was attacked for stepping on the prayer ground with his shoe on and seriously injured by the student. It was the state governor who directed that the students should be arrested and the Emir directed that the student should exiled from the whole community. The Emir said he has a son serving in Lagos State and if anything happen to his son while serving he will sue the Lagos State governor. Many of us have been deceived by these politicians to believe that everything rest on the table of the president while the state Governors sit and do nothing about insecurity in their state. In same vein, I do ask people who claim they are being marginalize in their state to tell me how they are being treated in their own state by their own state governors. Are people aware that some local government have no say in the core affairs of the state they belong to? Governorship position are rotate among few local government in their state.
