I think in one interview I read which featured Opiah he made mention of about 21 communities, I search for that and make it available to you.

You are probably correct as he was talking about his constituency, the 21 communities will be, 2 from Ikwerre LGA (Omarelu & Apani), 1 from Emohua LGA (Egbeda) and 18 from ONELGA (Elieta, Ekpe-Mgbede, Ekpe-Ukazi, Ekpe-Aga, Ase, Ase-Azaga, Umuorieke, Mgbede, Agah, Okwuzi, Uju etc) and these 21 communities will fall within his constituency of Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West.

More communities were recovered from Etche LGA like Obite, Ndashi, Umuoye, Akporku, Umuokele, Umuokom, Umudi, Okoloche, Umuoga, Umuoma, Obeki, Owubu, Obi, Egba, Owu, Erelaka, Igbodo, amuobako, Umudele

So in total, I think nearly 40 communities were recovered from Rivers State

Ongoing Walkway installation is visible, I pray it's extended to other parts of the city.

Now compare this ambience to Lusaka, you will understand my point that Lusaka is quite ugly.

Yet your intellect did not tell you governor of Imo State can appoint a commissioner for State Capital Territory. Does you Abuja not of the shit hole called Nigeria. I guess logic or lack thereof seemed to be the benign of progress in Nigeria.

You are indirectly suggesting to Imo state governor to appoint a Commissioner for Owerri Capital territory. What constitution shall back that? It’s the same manner that some people in Imo state have gradually modified Imo state development process to become a thing for Owerri capital territory.
Bad governors embrace the modification.
This is very very unfair. Give consideration to the fact that states were divided into LGAs, and Senatorial districts purposely for uniform development.
They did not build London first, and after that, begin to build Manchester or Birmingham or Liverpool or Sheffield etc. Governments built simultaneously in these towns.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by discusant: 5:56pm On Jun 16, 2021
As expected, the communities in Rivers state for Imo state are resisting any such move.
What is the need moving them from Rivers state to Imo state whose development process has been restricted to Owerri state capital by rookies and crooked state administrators since 2007?

The choice for Rivers over Imo is to escape stigmatization by other Nigerians. If man with Igbo name speaking Igbo language ecplains to other Nigerians that he's a Rivers man their attitude changes instantly from hostility to fake friendliness.

Who can contemplate merging Igbo communities in Delta state to Anambra state? Most of the Igbos in Delta state get angry if anyone tries to see them as non Igbo.
Much of Rivers state is Igbo land; whoever argues against that is trying to rewrite history. Ignore the few Wikes in pursuit of political relevance from northern Nigeria

Enemies of the Igbo are trying to reduce Igbo influence in Rivers state, that’s behind this talk of returning some communities in Rivers state to Imo state.. Hopefully, Igbo leaders, especially people of Imo state, do not fall mugu for the Greek gifts.

I have read another document proposing to create new Orashi state including parts of mainland Rivers state (Omoku as capital) for a 6th state in the SE, then creating Anioma state for a 7th state in the SE, as they want to have 7 states in each of the 6 geopolitical zones.

All these steps are being taken under this administration to limit Igbo to land with no access to the sea. Igbos must resist this.
SE leaders had for long (during Obasanjo and Jonathan political restructuring conferences) stipulated the areas they wanted any 6th and 7th states in the SE to be created.

Actually that's a good idea.Anioma and orashi state is good rather than fragmenting the SE further

Ashi. Put political representation in Abuja, sharing of National revenues, quota system, wider reach of Ala Igbo and access to sea in focus, Nd’Igbo are losers if your desire is done. That’s what Buhari’s administration want for Nd’Igbo.

Igbo leaders had on two political restructuring conferences projected Njaba, Aba and Adada as most viable candidates for new states for the SE.

The most likely 6th SE state will be ENOA state as proposed last month during constitution reviews at Owerri and PH, and it will comprise of Obigbo, Etche, Omuma, Ukwa East and Ukwa West with capital at Obehie

Any attempt in this Buhari’s administration to bring in local government areas in Rivers or Delta state to form part of Southeast geopolitical zone is a checkmating of Igbo expansionism by sworn enemies of Nd’Igbo.
We must not let them sell lamb in place of horse to Nd’Igbo this time.
Given the history of state creation in the southeast, Igbo leaders had in the two political restructuring conferences in 2006 and 2014 stipulated the three most appropriate areas for new states for the SE zone.

Taking out Aba from Abia state will handicap what is left of Abia State.

I don't get you at all. Obigbo have always been agitating to return to the SE either as part of Abia state or as a new state with their kin in ukwa East and west lga. How is that bad? we aren't talking of the Ikwere and ekpeye that deny their igboliness- we are talking of obigbo here .
Aniomas too deserve their own state . Why are you supporting creating a new state from the existing ones in the SE ? when we can use the coming state creation to gather our folks (those willing ) partitioned away to the SS ?

It depends Brother, if our present quasi centre controlled federal government will still be in existence, then SE will be better with Adada state, Etiti State, ABA state, Njaba state. However, if we are restructuring Nigeria with devolution of power, then ENOA state, Orashi state, Anioma state, port Harcourt state will be great

Devolution of powers from Abuja to the regions or to the states but without resource control by the regions or states in place, makes little or no difference from what we have already. Once revenues are to be shared by Abuja after devolution of powers to the states or regions is in place, bringing Igbo local government areas in Rivers and Delta states to the southeast zone is an effort to subtract shared federal revenues from the Igbo.
Do the Math, if you can.

Of course, Arewa cannot allow resource control anytime soon in Nigeria.

They will allow for resource control if the have resources of there own, or only as a last stop to stop Nigeria imploding

If your group can fight war and defeat Arewa to agree to resource control in Nigeria’s political process; that’s the only way to have oil and gas producing states to control their resources and pay tax to Abuja central government.

The civil war was won for Arewa. Nobody gives up in peace time what he won through war. It’s waste of time hoping that Arewa will give up the oil and gas deposits in the south to the oil producing states.
