Lmao. You are speaking ont he defense of a paedophile, you will soon start speaking for Osama as well because of we are all infallible angry. Someone allegedly raped a minor and sexually harassed her but you are screaming righteous. What a convenient excuse!

We don't claim to be righteous but we don't rape or sexually harass minors.

Vaughanlanrewaj:
In my books, no one, including you the righteous one, is infallible and it helps to keep me on guard. Being aware of your frailties help you confront it better and reinforce your strength to overcome it. For some, it's as bad as lying and on judgement day, there will be no distinction between the high and low sins. The scriptural counsel of "Flee all appearances of Evil" is the magic word. But if you fall, take the hardship in the punishment with the grace of a repentant sinner and never ever return to it even if you were not caught in the act like him. Do you see how people who hide behind the anonymity of Nairaland to become toxic pretend to be morally upright in real life. That's it. Too much pretence but in the face of God , such sins are as weighty as murder and others.visit www.freestuffsng.com for latest freestuffs in Nigeria.

I will refrain from passing judgement on a case still in court and the accused had already taken his not guilty plea.

Right now,I know that you're not the court and I take your verdict as your personal opinion. I repeat, anyone about to do something disgraceful should better not do so and learn from the case of this man. And if you have fallen, take the punishment with equanimity and don't go back to the sin. Sin is sin, don't buy the idea that one sin is bigger than the other. Flee all appearances of Evil. Please go and read it again ma. When you find yourself in humbling situations,it is part of human experiences regardless of what you consider as the scale of the sin, it doesn't give you an excuse to beat yourself beyond recovery or listen alone to toxic comments from those who are beating you when you are already down. Some people are narcissistic in nature and just like to even prey on those already down even when we know the person will still face the consequence. If the society does not believe in second chance, there will be no correctional centres nah. There's no sudden calamity of failure in life, it's always a build up of one failure after one another until it blows out. For some, they're in it but not caught yet while some are just about to go into it. My best advice I recommend is to avoid sin to avoid disgrace. Whether it is bottom or middle scale,it doesn't matter. For some, it's driving one way everyday until a day they hit and kill someone yet they knew all along it's a sin but felt it's not serious as murder and the one he is being tried for. Like I stated, the case is in court, I trust that the court will decide.

Stop this nonsense bro. The guy is never guilty of any crime and FYI, it were in western countries, the so-called princess will be in jail and not baba Ijesha.

The bail condition included two relatives of Baba Ijesha, one civil servant of grade 16 and a refundable sum of N500,000 to be paid into the Lagos High court account, this newspaper gathered.

Exactly! Most people are looking at the issue from emotional, instead of a rational, point of view.

1) The lady in the video I saw is never 14 but between the ages of 17-24 years

2) At no point in time did the lady resisted his illicit sexual advances

3) Both seemed relax and comfortable with each other

4) The lady didn't show any sign of being in any panic mode when the man was making the advances to her,and as a matter of fact, she was complicit

5) If it was a setup, that means the people who arranged the setup are equally guiity since they have a foreknowledge of the possible outcome

6) What if the so-called princess was in a romantic relationship with baba Ijesha and she felt betrayed by the man she loved and trusted and sought a way of destroying him

7) The so-called princess recently had a crashed marriage hence all men are guiity as far as she is concerned and will go any length to destroy any man that criosses her path.

Note: The moist dangerous woman is a scorned and a jilted woman.

This isn't a humbling situation. That is an interesting way of minimising the harm he has caused and you are also contributing to it.

It is an expose of a man who preys on our weak and our defenceless. He is a predator.

1. Do you know her that well?. A minor can have have an ass bigger than 10 pineapples. She is still a minor. Assuming she isn't, it is still sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is a crime. It isn't the norm yet in Nigeria. Culture is changing, the youths are different. Hopefully in a couple of years, the guilty will begin to spend time behind bars. grin. That will be most satisfying tongue

2. You don't need to show resistance. A minor is a minor.

3. That is shocking why, her face was blurred...did you see her smiling and laughing with him or what?

4. Not everyone goes to a panic mode biko.

5. Make it make sense please. There is something called entrapment in law. If a policeman approaches you and offer to sell you cocaine, that is entrapment and it won't hold. If you approach the policeman and ask to buy cocaine, it isn't. Now apply that to this situation. There is also the added benefit of being a minor. Even if she comes at you, you run the other way.

6. That can happen it is possible. More often than not, the abuser is usually guilty. You have a video and a confession. How far will you like to twist the truth to suit yourself?

7.That was eons ago. Good try again. You are just trying to throw a bucketful of assumptions to justify a predator. Thanks for telling us the kind of person you are.

Lmao. Now it is 'Let's make it about Princess'. Some man you are.

Thanks so much for your mature and reasonable response. Even though we see this issue from a different perspective I appreciate your manner of response.

Of course her face was blurred in the video but it won't be blurred in the court of law. People that know her will attest to her real age and the defense lawyer will also verify her real age. Remember, in a scandalous and sensational issue like this, the age of the alleged victims are always lowered to garner public sympathy and outcry. I have, and many others, have always doubted the official age the media, and princess, gave the girl. That's however not a justification for rape or molestation.

And again, if the judgement is based solely on what we see on the video, except if we have other damning evidence, baba Ijesha will go scotfree. That video is never incriminating enough. There is nothing in that video that suggested rape or overt sexual molestation. Caveat: I never endorsed sexual harassment in any way and i fully condemn it.

If this incident happened in a country like the US or UK, baba Ijesha willl be the one seeking damages and not the other way round because there is no any shred of evidence of any form of coersiin. Besides, the lady in question, based on video evidence look far above 14. My 21 year old sister (last born) has the same body mass as the girl in the video. If she is 14 she is physically matured above her age and most men approach ladies/girls, not based on their age but on their physique and physical maturity.

Thank you.

Re: Baba Ijesha In Court Today, Holds Christian Book, Pleads Not Guilty by Sterope(f): 10:56pm On Jun 16, 2021
1. You don't know but you are willing to assume falsely. Even the chief supporter, Yomi Fabiyi after all of his investigations haven't said otherwise. You may be right or not. You are quick to make excuses for a man who assaulted a minor when none presents itself.

2. This is where you need to go online and understand the meaning of sexual harassment or seek out your HR and get them to hold a seminar on sexual harassment. What on earth is overt sexual harassment?

Can you see what you are doing? You moved from assuming without an fact to back your assumptions to minimising sexual harassment. If what you called non-overt happened in a country where I live, you will be ruined legally even if it was toward a 40 year old woman.

3. When did body mass become a way of measuring minor or non-minors? I don't think you know anything of US laws. First, ignorance is not an excuse and his ass will be sitting in jail sweating because he is ruined for life.

There is a video of a Yoruba man in the UK pleading for his life because he messaged a teenager and went to her school to see her. He hasn't touched her and he hasn't asked to send pictures.

When you repeatedly hold assumptions by shifting on what if, but she looked like, non-overt sexual harassment etc, it shows the kind of man you are. I might have initially assumed you probably don't know much about sexual harassment but at this point you do but you are doing everything to make light of it.

Your attempts to rationalise despicable behaviours to minors and women appear to me you are also guilty of this. If you have a history, reach out now and sincerely. Your what ifs and assumptions won't save you if justice comes calling one day.
