Let me just drop this sales report because of the story behind it.

So I gave a scrapper 4 domains to get end users for me. He came back and asked me to replace one of those domains because the tool he was using for the scrapping can't work for that particular domain's country.

I replaced it with the domain in the screenshot below. A geo I bought in 2019 (renewed 2020). Did several outbounds but didn't sell.

He sent the Enduser list for that particular domain, and the number of Endusers was less than 20 (after removing duplicates and all that).

I outbounded to more Endusers last year than the small list he was giving me. I even used FAX for outboud.

Anyway, because the list was small, I started with that.

And it sold that same day!

Maybe luck, providence, Grace, hardwork, whatever...

But the domain was quite good sha.
I even reduced the price to $199 at some point as I wanted to get rid of it.

Other info: Sold via the new GoDaddy ns5/ns6 Landers.

Domain investing can be frustrating sometimes.
The sales drought is crazy. And to think I have 95 good geo names all outbound for and yet I have been experiencing sales drought for the past 5 weeks now. And it's not like I am not getting leads or inquiries but most if not all of them has been backing down.
This is my longest drought since I joined this hustle in November 2019.
And nigga is broke right now

Na wa o. Any help, tips, advice or encouragement will be highly appreciated.

This "drought" is somewhat troubling. Most leads open emails and even click links but nothing afterwards. Discounts don't seem to excite them either - including those that previously showed interest.

Yet, I thought the quality of names acquired this year is better than before. This thing taya me o.

I think Ikhalyfah once wrote his longest time without sale was about three weeks. This one is over 30 days already.

Third, I was building Google Adsense monetized and affiliate blog websites.

Fourth, which is the icing on the cake was that I started freelance writing business on the side. I remember this like yesterday. It was in warrior forum. I asked a guy for an ebook on website flipping and/or investing because I was not having PayPal account to pay for it. He said no and I suggested to write SEO articles for him as trade by barter. He agreed and later thanked me for the good articles. From thereon, I was opened for business in providing freelance writing services. All these happened within 90 days using the SMART principle.

Personally, I love time freedom and not just financial freedom only. So, I always work against "financial drought" in every business I venture into no matter the cost to get it right. If you've an ice cream business and a shop selling umbrellas and rain coats, you'll make sales both in dry and raining seasons. I rest my case!

Some Endusers have what is called FAX number on their websites. Text based messages can be sent to those numbers and it would be read/printed? by the fax machine.
Only did for this particular situation sha. Used some free service I saw online. It's like something outdated but still in use.

You don't have to throw away your US number. You subscribed to Dingtone legally as a service. Except you contacted potential end users without following fair online marketing practices, it's only Dingtone that have a case to answer and not you.

Safe to say this dry spell reach everywhere.
I was beginning to think I was alone. Two months without a single sale and one just came through a few days ago.
Continue to follow up. I don't know if it was because I told the end user that he could call/text me on my dingtone number that did the trick.
In any case, tweak your follow up letter and you might just stumble on what will make the end user buy the domain
