[color=#990000][/color]National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has congratulated Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo State, on his victory at the appeal court. Recall that on Wednesday, the court of appeal sitting in Akure, Ondo state, dismissed an appeal filed by Eyitayo Jegede, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging Akeredolu’s victory in the October 2020 governorship election. Tinubu, in a congratulatory message on Thursday, expressed that the judgement delivered by the court of appeal affirms that the rule of law is meant to protect the will of the people in a free and fair electioneering process. He also urged the governor to continue to work with other candidates for the development of state. |
