I also attended a catholic nursery and primary school anyway.

St. Anthony’s nursery and primary school in Ijebu ode. This quality you are talking about in catholic schools is only by Nigerian standard and a good number of them are still below par.

Just browse about the school i mentioned, it’s still one of the biggest private schools in Ijebu-ode today but you can’t compare the quality there with schools like Corona schools and Norwegian/British schools in Lagos.
I have already answered this.

There needn't be a reason for one to celebrate an administrative master stroke that changed the health and education fortunes of a domain.

Call it the journey so far and you might be right. The op has an audience. If you are not one, change TV station and go watch sports or whatever.

I wonder why anyone would be offended by this rich documentary.

I am not talking about the international schools.
How many students in Lagos go to international schools.?

I am talking about the schools that most lagosians have access to.
The standard is higher in anambra.
you are just jumping into conclusion upandan. There are also this so called catholic schools here na?

What’s your point sef? Why can’t you people just calm down and do research whenever you visit Lagos?

One what basis will one say that teachers in Anambra catholic schools are better than other catholic schools nationwide?

Yes, it will contain all of us.
Please create one for your region. I like such threads. They are informative. Do you prefer the threads on crime and violence that litter Nairaland.

Lol, quality of teachers.

My son and everyone in their school speak queen’s English. It’s a British school and you have to pass British test of English both in writing and accent to be able to teach in his school. A lot of them are like that in Lekki.
It’s seem most of you just visit oshodi, Yaba and Alaba international and then conclude on Lagos grin
STATE OWNED SCHOOLS OWNED BY THE STATE AND MANAGED BY THE ARCH DIOCESE. PUBLIC PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN ONITSHA A'DIOCESE ALONE. How is Nigeria beautiful without infrastructure and security? You can imagine if oil money are used well to connect big cities with railways,it would be easy to undertake internal tourism.

Guy, cut the crap! You're talking about private owned schools Na, it's still the same with private schools in Anambra. These schools pay higher tuition fees now compared to the mission schools.

On the back of their unity school cut-off mark??

Anambra needs 139, while a student from Lagos needs 133 to enter the same unity school.
If anambra students gets 133, he is not entering.

Surely, the competitiveness of the students has determined the cut-offs.

And the competitiveness of the students is directly proportional to the quality of teachers churning out those students.

I see you attended one of this quack schools in Anambra hence you cannot interpret data properly.

The unity school cut-off marks is indigene-based and not schools location-based.

For example; if you are from Anambra and you schooled in a Benue state primary school, you can’t get the admission with Benue cut-off, you will still get it with Anambra cut-off, this also applies via-a-vis. This doesn’t explain how Anambra teachers are better, an Anambra kid who attended a school in Lagos can pass the exam, in this case it cannot be attributed to the quality of education in Anambra.

All these people are wack in logic.

Onitsha Catholic Diocese alone manages more than 400 schools in their jurisdiction, same with other dioceses in Anambra both Catholic and Anglican, Anambra state government map out funds for them every year to assist them, please can you show me your governor doing thesame It's hard for you to understand because we don't practise the same system with you, your region is 50/50 Muslim and Christian, no doubt there are few mission schools in your region your Muslim bothers are frustrating them unlike Anambra mission control education and health sector.
