To me Canada is a good option but very expensive.
USA are not even giving visa appointment now

All the same you can apply from there if your residency is still valid.

Both has there pros and cons… Germany vs Canada is very debatable, I wouldn’t even chose one over the other … but financially Canada is really expensive tho

Since you're in Dubai, you can apply from there, you don't have a problem. It's the German embassy in Naija that is moving mad jare.

Thank you! So this one year before interview wouldn’t be an issue.. maybe I should proceed with Germany student visa then … Germany educations are still free right? And how much do I need in the block acct

Proceed immediately.
The one year before interview affects only those in category B in Nigeria.
90% of schools in Germany offer free tuition.
Block account should be up to N6M, particularly, now that the naira is depreciating.
All the best.

Guten Morgan! I write to appreciate all in this group! The information I have gotten here has helped me to get Visas for myself and 10 others to Poland so I come say thanks for all the information shared between 2018-2020!

On the need to protest online or at the Consulate I think I see things now from a different world view!

The German Consulate to the best of my knowledge intentionally choose to restrict Nigerians! For many reasons, my brothers with the German Government in Köln so we have discussed this issues!

The problem is that Nigerians who entered Germany in the past did not leave a good image! Many dropped out from school’ then our population of applications are way too much! So for Internal interest the Consulate reduced the Visas they give to Nigerians!

I applied to Poland only once June - November 2020 I got my Visa after wasting 3 years trying to get Germany interview date!

Good morning can I send you a message please drop your email

Why is everyone talking about masters and other post graduate studies and no one is talking about bachelor's/undergraduate studies?

Is it that hard to do bachelor's in Germany even one has the required funds? Does anyone know the process?

The process is easier or almost same as masters.... German don’t accept waec to study bachelor programs is either u have to attend Studienkolleg or have 100 level transcripts from Nigeria Uni.

If you have to study in German u need minimum of German knowledge of B1 some schools demands more and to study in English u need English proficiency certificate.

Who is always in charge of visa process?

German Embassy in Nigeria or The alien office in the city your school is located?

Because I message the alien office and they said they are not in charge of it, they said na the diplomatic mission abroad.

I think is both. I think the alien office reviews ur application and then give a go ahead to the embassy in ones country.

If the Alien office say yes to the embassy they will issue you a visa… if they say no embassy denies you visa…

But embassy also reserves the right to say No if something seems off….
