Soludo is not a career politician. He is a bright economist who does things without caring whose ox is gored. He would make a far better governor than Maduka because he has been in government and knows how it works. He will not be learning in his first 4 years nor will he be conned by all those criminals and incompetents in various ministries . He will have a strategy that is built on empirical facts. Personally, I am not a fan of Soludo and this is not because I think he can't do the job with excellence , but because I think he is arrogant and disrespectful ...at least to Peter Obi. Soludo's relationship with Obi got sore because the former started begrudging Obi after he (Soludo) was disqualified from APGA primaries 7yrs ago. Soludo was disqualified because he had a pending case with the EFCC , and Obi thought it doesnt look good to have a questionable character on the party's ticket. The very same primaries produced Gov. Willie Obiano. It was also on this same primary election that Oseloka Obaze( the brain behind Obi's success and the man who could have become the governor) was disqualified for not having a voters card. While Obaze took it in good faith, Soludo felt he is too big to be checked by the governor of Anambra state.

So, I don't dislike Soludo but I am undecided about him. My favorites to that seat are Ike Obosi Chidoka ,Oseloka Obaze and Iyom Ekwunife in that order.
